This study aims to identify tourism potential and a set of strategies for a competitive rural tourism development using a case study in Sukajadi Tourism Village, Bogor Regency, West Java. This study is a descriptive qualitative type with an exploratory case study approach. Primary data were obtained from deep field observation and interview with key informants, while secondary data was obtained from the results of literature studies and documentation. This research used identification analysis techniques of 11 tourism components modified from several experts, CHSE analysis, work program government (PROKER), market preferences, and SWOT analysis as well as SWOT Matrix. The result of this study was obtained great potential and 15 main strategies for the development of the Sukajadi Tourism Village which is currently starting to grow, namely making serious and aggressive efforts on the internal aspects of village tourism destination, as well as collaboration with tourism industry and local governments to create a competitive rural tourism destination. An active and aggressive strategy is needed for the development of Sukajadi village as a competitive rural tourism destination, based on micro and macro perspectives.
<p>Agro wisata merupakan destinasi wisata yang cukup menarik bagi keluarga. Selain mendapatkan kesenangan, wisatawan juga mendapatkan edukasi mengenai tanaman dan pertanian. Hanya saja perlu diketahui tingkat kepuasan pengunjung mengingat banyaknya pesaing dari destinasi wisata yang lain yang semakin berkembang dan inovatif. Penelitian ini menggambarkan kepuasan wisatawan ketika berkunjung ke salah satu Agro wisata ternama di Bogor, di mana terbatas pada kepuasan wisatawan saja tanpa melihat variable lain. Hal ini dilakukan untuk melihat kepuasan wisatawan ketika mengunjungi atau melakukan kegiatan di agro wisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa sebagian besar responden menyatakan puas setelah mengunjungi atau melakukan kegiatan di agro wisata. World wide covid-19 pandemic is affecting human behavior in travelling. The impact from this pandemic is declining tourism activity and causing some hotels closed. Adaptation to new habits or we call it New Normal is one of the best way to survive in pandemic situation. People implement New Normal -new lifestyle at home, outside, daily activity, non-routine traveling activity. This makes people change their lifestyle and more selective to do traveling activity. For example they will choose hotel, tourism destination, or restaurant with the best cleanliness and safety assurance. To achieve that, Indonesian government through tourism minister makes program called CHSE certification to hotel, tourism destination, restaurant, and creative industry. CHSE is Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environtment Sustainability. This research is held in Hotel Salak the Heritage Bogor as one of famous star-hotel in front of Bogor Presidential Palace. This research use qualitative descriptive method with secondary data analisys that available in Hotel Salak the Heritage Bogor with research tools checklist sheets. The result is Hotel Salak the Heritage Bogor meet the standard of CHSE and got CHSE certificate and labeling I DO CARE from Indonesian government. It can be concluded that Hotel Salak the Heritage Bogor implement CHSE that make people trust and feel secure/safe to do activity in Hotel.
Abstract-Tourism in rural areas now is not only a reality, needs and desires of tourists, but also the holder of an instrument of rural development. Rural tourism combines different forms of tourism and therefore represents an opportunity for the involvement of different segments of the local community to participate in tourism development implementation. Kampung Nelayan Marunda, which located in administration city of North Jakarta is a potential area for tourist attraction. Kampung Nelayan Marunda needs specific consideration in order to rearrange the environment, thus it might also improve the local. This potential can be used under various forms in the rural area: cultural tourism, historical tourism, religious tourism, fishing tourism, as well as other kinds of rural tourism. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the current situation and the possibilities of improving the overall tourism offer for rural tourism in Kampung Nelayan Marunda. Furthermore, it should show the existing capacities of the tourism offer and potential activities of public. In addition, the aim is to point out the importance of legislation, which sets directions of development in this particular area and eventually to indicate the measures that will enhance the current tourism promotional activities of Kampung Nelayan Marunda.
