In the software integration testing, the combined exploding problem was appeared for GUI (Graphic User Interface) software with many advantages. Based on the engineering thinking of staging and the feature of GUI software, the grey technique of integration testing for GUI Software based on message is proposed to solve this problem, in which, the white-box method is used to deal with the consistent and unified part and black-box method is mainly engaged to dispose the difficult and varied part of software testing. By analysis of basic GUI software, the application of this grey technique will improve the testing efficiency with 333% according to testing executed number, and the efficiency in terms of testing executed time will be 438%. An actual example in product quality monitoring software has verified the approach and its efficiency of the grey technique.
In this paper, the new organization for unit testing embedding pair-wise mode is proposed with the core thought focused on the cooperation of programmer and tester by "cross-testing". The typical content of unit testing for the new organizing mode should have three aspects, including self-checking, cross-testing and independent-testing. For cross-testing, executing "pair-wise" mode, mainly tackles data testing, function testing and state testing, which function testing must be done by details and state testing must be considered for completeness. With the specializing of independent-testing, it should be taken as more rigid testing without arbitrariness. Consequently, strategy and measure are addressed for data testing focusing on boundary testing and function/state testing. And organizing method of procedure and key points of tackling unit testing are investigated for the new organizing mode. In order to assess the validity of our study and approach, a series of actual examples are demonstrated for GUI software. The result indicates that the execution of unit testing for the new organizing mode is effective and applicable.
In this paper, based on digital measuring equipment, data and information flow, and local network of inspection, two main aspects of digital inspection of cutting and machining are discussed in detail including: digital inspection of dimension, and digital inspection of shape and position. For digital inspection of dimension, we can fabricate special apparatus with digital indicator and directly synthesize old tester and new digital indicator to implement digital inspection of internal diameter, external diameter, depth and thickness. For digital inspection of shape and position, we should fabricate respective equipment to fulfill requirements of all kinds of parts and develop special inspection software. Then, this paper has also put forwards an actual example of manufacturing quality, and results show that digital inspection technology can be applied successfully in manufacturing factory.
This paper proposed an approach of construction of baseline test suite in smoke test for extreme programming. According to our investigation, the baseline test suite should firstly embody the thinking of “data-centerlization”, and the baseline test suite in smoke test should be conducted in terms of the true application scheme, so this baseline test suite should be the calibration marking for testing and verification of a baseline product version. As a typical example, in the procedure of construction in smoke test of Product Quality Monitoring Software, data accuracy, kinds of control chart, data range, typical application situation, and further requirement were taken into consideration. In order to improve the testing efficiency and to avoid mistakes, a loading kit was developed.
