The X-ray crystal structure analysis of the 1 : ' 1 title complex is reported. Crystals are monoclinic, space group P2,lc, with a = 6.172(5), b = 9.605(8), c = 20.33(2) A, p = 96.60(8)", and Z = 4. The structure has been solved from visually estimated data by the heavy-atom method, and refined by least-squares to R 10.2% for 1 865 non-zero observed reflections. Each silver atom is co-ordinated to three sulphadiazine molecules by a distorted tetrahedral configuration of three nitrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, with Ag-N 2.24, 2.24, and 2.44. and Ag-0 2.52 8.
