DCdiC au Professeur Y. R . Naves a l'occasion de son 75e anniversaire Phytochemistry of genus Gentiana. XXII. Identification of new 0-glucosides of mangiferin in Gentiana asclepiadea L.
SummaryTwo new 0-glucosides of mangiferin (mangiferin-7-0-~-~-glucoside (1) and mangiferin-6-0-~-~-glucoside (2)) have been isolated from the leaves of Gentiana asclepiadea L. This is the first full structure elucidation of naturally occurring 0glucosides of C-glucosylxanthones. The known C-glucosylflavone, saponarin (5) was also identified.
