Harian Fajar presents Islamic content in its news to meet the information needs of the majority of various Muslim communities. However, every element in the editorial structure has an interest. The existence of this interest makes reporting a fact that is not value-free. The purpose of this research is to reveal the Islamic content that is packaged in the news and to determine the ideology that influences the construction of news in Harian Fajar. The critical discourse uses the model of van Leewen emphasizing on the exclusion and inclusion. First, the exclusion process in the form of passivation, nominalization and replacement of clauses. Second, the process of inclusion, which is inserting information as a strategy to represent individuals or groups in the form of differentiation-
Social media is a form of online mass media where users can easily interact by creating information through blogs, wikis, and other virtual worlds.This research uses the theory of self existence and the theory of the spiral ofsilence. One of the most popular social media in the community is Twitter. Twitteris a social media networking service that gives access to the use of sending,reading and replying to text, image and video based messages with a text limit ofup to 280 characters. Twitter is one of the social media that political leaders useto interact with their supporters and attract public empathy. In its agenda,political figures will more often update Twitter as they approach elections orwhen major issues occur. Social media has a close relationship with politicsbecause social media, especially Twitter, has channels that are close to thecommunity so that people can easily get news directly from political figures.
Various supporting features of interpersonal communication and interaction such as chatrooms, walls, messanger, etc. make Facebook as one of the models of interpersonal mediated communication (interpersonal mediated communication). The purpose of this study is to describe the use of Facebook as a facility that facilitates friendship and personal relationships. The subject of this research is Facebook active users who utilize various Facebook features to meet new people. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that various Facebook features were able to facilitate its users in communicating both socially just friends to personal communication that led to institutional (marriage). Feminist da'wah by women preachers on YouTube has formed Muslim interaction relationships that play a role in helping spread the teachings of Islam, especially for Muslim women who are packaged in da'wah messages that construct the role of women in the domestic sphere. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach and qualitative descriptive to describe various conditions, situations or phenomena of social reality that occur on social media. Data collection techniques were carried out by documentation, observation and focus group discussion. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the construction of gender identity through the externalization process of adjustment to social reality, objectivation by using Islamic normative legal basis and internalization through acceptance and determination of choices in action. The cognitive reduction that occurs gives birth to the assumption of dominance, the assumption of limitation and the assumption of deviation in representing a da'wah message. Adjustments to the principle of justice and the basic conditions experienced by a woman are needed in understanding the message of da'wah.
