The problem of optimizing the life cycle of complex three-dimensional objects in small-scale production is considered. Additive technologies and optimization algorithms for the placement of three-dimensional objects are considered as technologies to solve this problem. Using the multilevel synthesis method can significantly reduce the time for prototyping new products. It should be noted that since several independent parts can be manufactured at the same time, this problem belongs to the class of optimization geometric modelling problems, namely, the problem of three-dimensional irregular placement. An algorithmic solution is proposed for the most complex task - placing 3D objects in a container. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms are discussed.
This paper regards the problem of the two-dimensional irregular cutting stock problem (ICSP), where the pieces to be cut out may be of any shape. The sequential value correction method has been developed to solve this problem. This method is based on dual values (variables), which is the essential concept of linear programming. We suggest a technique of value calculation for such pieces. The algorithms are included. We also describe a computing experiment whose results are the evidence of the good performance of the algorithms developed.
The problem of production planning as an element of Gartner enterprise architecture in a distributed organizational and technical system is considered on the example of a construction company of medium and large scale. Mathematical models for planning organizational and technical resources in a distributed system as elements of patterns are discussed. In the development of the information and application layers, field-proven solutions can be used as patterns. The approach to the organization of business processes of a construction company that allows solving the problem of optimal scheduling of construction works while simultaneously executing a number of projects by the company and, thus, increasing the management efficiency of a geographically distributed enterprise is considered. The enterprise architecture as a unified information environment for managers of a construction company, site managers, supply engineers, designers, and estimates is discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
