Transport of people in buildings and at relatively short distances is possible by escalators. Escalators have a great application in the transport of the people and they represent an important part of vertical transport. As escalators are used at all ages, it is necessary to design them to be safe. Due to the large number of moving parts and the complicated construction of the escalator, it is necessary to perform periodic checks and controls of their correctness and safety for the transport of people. The paper gives an overview of the basic elements of escalators, and some potential dangers and appropriate safety measures for their prevention.

Тема рада јесте пројектовање уређаја за испитивање транспортних трака. На по­четку су извршени прегледи стандарда који се односе на испитивање транспортних трака и научних радова чија је тема испитивање транспортних трака. Након тога је направљен концепт уређаја. Затим је извршен избор компонената уређаја које учествују у погону и управљању. Након тога је изве­ден прорачун елемената и анализа помоћу методе коначних елемената. На крају су дате смернице за безбедност и заштиту при раду.

The paper presents a case study of gravel transshipment in RTC Luka Leget in Sremska Mitrovica, R. Serbia. Problems that led to the incorrect operation of conveyors used in the transshipment of gravel from barges to the separation plant were analyzed. They included activation the safety switch of the conveyor drive, backward movement of the material on the belt, fracture of the connection tension pulley - axle, etc. It was found that ignorance of the actual force in the conveyor belt leads to most of the problems and the need of a solution for this problem was highlighted. At the end, proposed solutions were given in order to establish the normal operation of the plant and to prevent delays in gravel transshipment.

The aim of this paper is to assess the risk to health and safety at work while working with a hydraulic crane mounted on a truck. After the risk assessment, appropriate preventive measures for healthy and safety of work are prescribed, together with a short manual on health and safety at work. The expert finding of the hydraulic loader crane was processed according to the Ordinance on the Manner and Procedure of Risk Assessment at the Workplace and in the Work Environment (Official Gazette of Republic of Serbia, no. 114/2014 and 102/2015).
