<p><strong>Abstract:</strong> The short stories produced by the writer Lekra are unique in revealing the realities in society in 1950—1965. One of the peculiarities of the content of resistance in his work is represented in the character's behavior and can encourage readers to become involved in resistance activities. This research uses qualitative research with a structural approach. Research data refers to a group of information from reading the text. The data source of this research is the short stories of the writer Lekra, published in the Harian Rakjat newspaper published in 1950—1965. The research data collection technique was carried out by reading, taking notes, and studying documents. The approach used to understand resistance in short stories is done with the phenomenological hermeneutics of Paul Ricoeur.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Cerpen-cerpen yang diproduksi sastrawan Lekra memiliki kekhasan dalam mengungkap realita di masyarakat tahun 1950—1965. Salah satu kekhasan terletak pada muatan resistensi di dalam karyanya yang direpresentasikan dalam lakuan tokoh dan dapat mendorong pembaca untuk ikut tergerak dalam aksi resistensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan struktural. Data penelitian mengacu pada sekelompok informasi dari pembacaan teks. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah cerpen-cerpen sastrawan Lekra yang dimuat koran <em>Harian Rakjat</em> terbitan tahun 1950—1965. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik baca, catat, dan studi dokumen. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam upaya pemahaman resistensi dalam cerpen dilakukan dengan hermeneutika fenomenologi Paul Ricoeur.
