The objective of this paper is to examine the influence of Islamic financing on the performance of small-medium enterprises in Lasanod Somalia. Many businesses obtain financings such as Murabaha, Microfinance, and Qard Al Hassana from Islamic banks operating in Somalia to raise funds and capital required to expand and run their businesses smoothly. This study employs a quantitative research approach. A total of 148 questionnaires were distributed and collected from Small Medium Enterprises owners and workers in Lasanod Somalia who obtained Islamic financing from local Islamic banks in Somalia. The responses were analyzed using SPSS 21. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and bivariate regression analysis were conducted to investigate the impact of Islamic financing on the performances of businesses operating in Somalia. Small Medium Enterprises owners and workers believe that Islamic financing has helped their businesses to obtain the funds needed for their businesses to grow and expand beyond existing markets. Furthermore, this study suggests there is a positive relationship between Islamic financing and business performance. The finding of this paper is statistically significant.

This study attempts to look the influence of Tax administration on revenue generation in Somalia. The study made use of 170 survey questionnaires containing relevant questions. Descriptive statistics were used to analyses 170 usable responses. The aim of this research study is to evaluate the effect of tax administration on revenue generation to the Somali government. The research design adopted in this study was survey research method. Primary sources of data were used in collecting information which was analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression analysis, and to make decisions. Findings show that the tax administration in Somalia is totally inefficient. Hence, tax administration affects the revenue generated by the government; also, there is a significant relationship between tax administration and revenue generation. The study therefore recommends that Somali Government could enforce taxpayer’s registration, tax audit and revenue protection system to enhance revenue generation in Somalia.

Due to the advancement of technology, many businesses moved from physical locations to online businesses where they do business online. The objective of this paper is to investigate the factors affecting online shopping behavior among residents of Lasanod Somalia. This paper used a quantitative research approach. Data were collected from residents of Lasanod Somalia through questionnaires. 160 questioners were collected from respondents who were selected using a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that factors such as trust, firm reputation, functionality, privacy, reliability, and firm value have an influence on consumers’ online buying behavior. The study found out there is a strong positive correlation between trust and firm reputation with an R-value of .612 and a significant level of .000 which is way below 0.01. This research focused on Lasanod city and cannot be generalized to the whole of Somalia. Furthermore, the sample size was not large.

The purpose of this study is to understand the association of proper management of working capital and profitableness of Digi telecom Berhad Malaysia during the period of 2015 until 2019. The methodology used is quantitative method statistics. In this paper, secondary data were used in a form of ratio analysis which is obtained from the financial reports of the past five years of Digi telecom. To investigate the strength and weakness of the correlation among working asset management and profitableness of the company correlation analysis, regression analysis and descriptive statistics were used. The findings indicate there is a solid negative correlation among return on asset to current ratio, quick ratio and day’s payable outstanding whereas there is moderate and weak negative relationship between return on asset to debtors turnover ratio and inventory turnover ratio respectively. It is important for managers of Digi telecom to create and improve the shareholders wealth and value by improving the company’s working capital ratio and reduce the days collection period and days payable outstanding.
