There are many methods for fabricat ing electron linear accelerator cav ities. In the present research two methods were chosen: first, separable parts (separate ring and disks) and second, parallel d isks and cylinder (integrated). The resonance frequencies of cavities and the quality factor of each frequency are two important parameters in their performance. The co mparison of measured parameters of the cavit ies made with two methods, firstly by the network analyzer mach ine and secondly using the HFSS simu lator. The results of both the practical measurements and the simu lation of the two structures indicated that the integrated method is better for imp le menting cavities.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
