The goal of this study was to see how effective intravenous magnesium sulfate is in treating severe acute asthma. In addition to checking Clinicaltrials.gov, we ran a database search in Scopus, Google Scholar, PubMed, and Embase. Studies were chosen based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria to prevent the chance of bias. Most researchers believed that intravenous magnesium sulfate improved symptoms and lung function significantly. Mortality and morbidity data were not available.
