In this study, the relationship of oil extraction rate (OER) and fruit ripeness will be determined. The sample of oil palm fruits was collected from the unripe until the overripe stage and the oil content of the mesocarp for fresh fruit bunches (FFB) was extracted by using bunch analysis procedure to get the oil extraction rate. Using the same samples of FFB, the pixel value of images which measure in hue, was determined by developed image analysis software. The images were captured under an outdoor environment in an oil palm plantation. The sunlight intensity of environment was recorded using Extech light meter at various times of the day from morning to afternoon in the oil palm plantation. The result of the experiment that showed a good relationship was found between the oil content of FFB with its image pixel values. The mathematical model was developed in determining the optimum days for FFB harvesting.
Abstract-The variations of day light intensity must be taken into account to recognize the color of the agriculture product when using camera vision system. In this study, the development of outdoor image analysis for oil palm fruit fresh bunches (FFB) was developed to analyses image of oil palm FFB. The software analysis will generates the mathematical model and correlation factor between the light intensity in relation to value of FFB from Red, Green and Blue component (RGB) of image taken. The visual basic programming language was used. An Excel worksheet programming software was developed to draw a chart and modify the charts location and dimensions. The API (Application Programming Interface) called GDI32 (Graphic Device Interface: 32-bit version) was applied to read and manipulate the pixel value of image. The software automation technique was used in the development of outdoor image analysis for agriculture product. The automation concept is to describe the automatic generation of the software to manipulate the data for producing the graph, mathematical analysis and equation, automatically from a bundle of data collected by only a click of mouse button. The result generated was used to develop mathematical model for color-based recognition for outdoor image of agriculture product. Linear regression function was used to find the equation of mathematical model for outdoors image analysis. To find the best equation of mathematical model, various trendline of data manipulation can be chosen manually from option provided in Microsoft Excel. The images of FFB were taken by using sony digital camera Handycam at various times of day from morning to afternoon in the oil palm plantation.
The righteous book of Al-Quran mentions that the basic need of the living thing in this world is water. Resident of rural areas such as indigenous people will tap the highland aquatic resources as the main foundation for water. The reservoir is built on the top of hilly area to collect water before it discharges through a pipe system that uses the force of gravity to go down to the settlements. However, the filtration system frequently clogs and requires the occupants to climb up the reservoir hill for cleaning process. A lot of energy and time are required to manage the irrigation systems. Thus, an innovation system has been conducted as the filters will be cleaned automatically using solar energy supply. The designs of the filters are specially designed as the filter is equipped with electric motors, washer rods, power supply units, and automatic control box. The advantages of this project are the product will filtered the water as remain as natural highland watering resources while using the solar energy to accomplished green technology application.
Syntax, morphology, linguistics and exegeses of the Quran are considered the basis for Tawjeeh Al-Qiraat (interpretation of the variations between Quranic Qira'at). However some grammatical rules were found contradicted with some Qira'at (modes of reading) and thus some syntacticians critiqued these Qira'at and questioned their authenticity. The purpose of this paper is to examine authenticity of these Qira'at on the one hand and the reasons why syntactician had critiqued these Qira'at. It also attempts to show which of the two schools of Arabic syntax were much critical to these Qira'at. The researcher followed an analytical approach by tracing the grammatical aspects in Qira'at which have been critiqued by syntacticians and the way in which such criticism has been dealt with by scholars of Qira'at. The study indicates that Qira'at must be followed as they were revealed no matter whether or not they correspond with Arabic spontaneous pronunciation and common syntactic rules. Scholars of Qira'at proved that all the Qira'at that were critiqued by syntacticians are robust; however, they do not correspond to the school of syntax these linguists advocate. Moreover, Basri scholars were much more critical of these Qira'at because they elaborated in citing these Qira'at paying little attention to their authenticity. Although these linguists were critical to these Qira'at, they cited them in great deal in their books.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
