Drug addiction is a widespread problem in Malaysia. Various treatments to cure drug addiction are discussed in this study. Among this treatments are religious approaches, based on the Quran and al-Sunnah. The research questions are more on the concept of drug addiction and drug dangers, conventional addiction treatment and alternative treatment of Islam as discussed. The methodology of this scientific study focuses on qualitative methods. This study focuses on the analysis of the work and the results of the findings. The results show that the Islamic approach is more successful than conventional treatment. Therefore, Islamic treatment is given priority in restoring drug addiction which is important to apply in every institution, rehabilitation center and the family of addicts themselves. Masalah penagihan dadah adalah masalah yang semakin berleluasa di Malaysia. Pelbagai rawatan untuk memulihkan ketagihan dadah dibincangkan di dalam kajian ini. Antara rawatannya ialah pendekatan agama, berlandaskan al-Quran dan al-Sunnah. Persoalan kajian ini lebih kepada konsep penagihan dadah dan bahaya dadah, rawatan ketagihan secara konvensional dan juga rawatan ketagihan secara alternatif keislaman yang telah dibincangkan. Metodologi kajian ilmiah ini berfokuskan kepada metod kualitatif. Kajian ini memberi tumpuan kepada analisis karya dan hasil dapatan yang telah didokumentasikan. Hasil kajian mendapati pendekatan secara islamik adalah lebih berjaya berbanding dengan rawatan secara konvensional. Oleh yang demikian, rawatan secara Islam diberi keutamaan dalam memulihkan ketagihan dadah yang merupakan perkara penting untuk diaplikasikan di setiap institusi, pusat pemulihan dan kalangan keluarga penagih itu sendiri.
According to the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA), the number of female drug addicts has been decreasing in the period of 2009 to 2013. The highest amount was recorded in 2010 with 580 female drug addicts. There are nowadays a lot of issues of drug addiction among women in the newspaper and also other sources of media such as the internet or television. Therefore, a pilot study was conducted to identify the appreciation of Aqidah among female drug addicts in Narcotics Addiction Rehabilitation Centre (PUSPEN) Bachok, Kelantan. By using quantitative methods, this study focused on 30 Muslim drug addicts from PUSPEN as respondents. Data was collected by using a set of questionnaire and analyzed with a 'Statistical Program for Social Sciences’ (SPSS) software Version 21.0 for windows to see the percentage, frequency and mean. This study found out that the overall score of the mean for appreciation of Aqidah from the point of understanding, feeling and practice, were in the high rate of 4.00 to 5.00. Kajian rintis ini dilakukan untuk mengenalpasti penghayatan akidah dalam kalangan penagih dadah wanita di Pusat Pemulihan Penagihan Narkotik (PUSPEN) Bachok, Kelantan. Kajian ini menggunakan kaedah kuantitatif. Responden terdiri daripada 30 orang penagih dadah wanita PUSPEN yang beragama Islam. Data dikumpul menggunakan kaedah soal selidik dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian„Statistical Program for Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 21.0 for windows untuk melihat peratus, kekerapan dan min. Kajian ini mendapati keseluruhan min skor penghayatan akidah dari sudut kefahaman, perasaan dan amalan adalah tinggi iaitu 4.00 hingga 5.00. Anxiety represents as a psychological problem and exists inside every soul. This is a normal feeling. Nevertheless, extreme anxiety will increase problems. Such situation requires a solution to prevent it from spreading among the communities today. Therefore, the article attempts to highlight anxiety therapy by practising al-Fatiha as an alternative spiritual remedy. This sura is selected because it has a lot of privileges. In the meantime, the article tries to answer a question on how to overcome anxiety trouble through an alternative way?. Data are collected through qualitative method by exploring documents, books, articles, past studies and interviews. The tool to analyse the data is content analysis and is described descriptively.The findings show that al-Fatiha has positive impact on those who practice it. Hence, al-Fatiha persists a beneficial remedy as an alternative to cure anxiety.
The concept of human will is one of the key elements that need to be discussed in identifying one's direction in life. Every human action is born out from his will. The concept of human will presented by Abraham Maslow is found to fulfil the necessity of life alone and is unable to achieve human satisfactions. Therefore, the position of the concept of the will of every individual is a priority highlighted in academic studies. This paper discusses the concept of human will according to al-Ghazali and Abraham Maslow, comparing the various elements highlighted by the two figures concerning human will. The study uses qualitative approach and content analysis method, and finds that the concept of human will discussed by al-Ghazali and Maslow are similar in terms of fulfilling the needs of humanity. The difference therein is noticed in terms of the means to meet those requirements to achieve self-satisfaction, the concept of acceptance and ultimate happiness.
