This paper aims to understand the stress among working women and helping method that can be used by counseling practitioners through the concept of Lazarus Stress Theory and Solution-focused Therapy application. The Focused issue is the stress among working women. Stress is an issue that often occurs to women working due to factors such as work load, health problems, childcare, social relations, relationships with spouses, time management and self-care. Although there are various methods that can be used to help them reduce the level of stress, it still can not be resolved properly. In fact, it continues to effect women's emotions and their quality of life. The adverse effects of stress can be identified based on four aspects namely physical, emotional, behavior and thinking. Therefore, it is important for counseling practitioners to help women to manage their stress. The application of the concept of Lazarus Stress Theory in counseling sessions is important as a guide to counselors in understanding the factors, effects, and situations that are happening to the client. Based on Lazarus's Theory, stress can be understood through three aspects, namely the stimulus, the respond and the process. After getting a clear understanding of the issue, counselors can apply specific techniques in Solution-Focused Therapy such as scaling techniques and miracle questions to help clients. The combination of understanding theoretical concepts and application of therapeutic techniques enhances counseling services as well as demonstrating professionalism of counselors in carrying out their duties.
This paper deals with internet addiction and family stress as it relates to symptoms, causes and effects. Internet addiction is defined as one who has no control over his or her desire for internet use. At that time, the internet was a necessity and not a necessity. Family is a unit that shares common experiences, issues and challenges. Thus, the stresses shared by family members are shared. Family stress refers to the imbalance between the demands and the family’s ability to meet those demands. Every family has different experiences and understandings of stress. One of the stress factors in the family is internet addiction. Ignoring the family as a result of internet addiction also affects the emotional, psychological and mental well-being of each family member. The other effects are on the level of communication of each family member, social problems, and developmental stages of the child. There is a link between internet addiction and household stress which includes symptoms, causes and effects that need attention. Every family needs to be aware of this problem and find a solution to it before it gets worse.

The issue of cyberbullying is a phenomenon that takes place on an internet platform and it has a profound impact on the victim. Cyberbullying is a form of deviant behavior of irresponsible individuals. This case study was conducted to understand the effects of cyberbullying among effeminate male university students. The subjects of the study consisted of four students at two public universities in the northern part of Malaysia. The methodology of research is a qualitative method by using in-depth interviews. The findings show that the main factor for cyberbullying to happen is the feminine character and the content of feminine posts such as fashion and makeup. Furthermore, the subjects are also affected emotionally, academically and in some aspects of their lives. In conclusion, the symptoms of cyberbullying are increasingly widespread and can happen to anyone. Various parties need to work together to control and mitigate these symptoms from continuously damaging the well-being of the community.
Humans, as social beings, have an inherent need for affiliation. This need to form social relationships and maintain them varies in degree from individual to individual. Need for affiliation is a need for open and sociable interpersonal relationships. A common definition of gratitude is “the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness;”.Researchers have conceptualized gratitude as an emotion that is always directed towards appreciating the helpful actions of other people (c.f. McCullough, Kilpatrick, Emmons, & Larson, 2001). The aim of the present investigation was to compare among young adults who are in a relationship with those who aren’t on their need for affiliation and feeling of general gratitude. It was hypothesized that need for affiliation and gratitude will be more in people who are in a relationship from those who aren’t and there will also be gender differences in gratitude and need for affiliation. A sample of 210 participants of the age group 18-24 were selected from which 105 were in a relationship and 105 have never been in a relationship. Need for affiliation was assessed using Liking People Scale developed by E.E. Filsinger (1981) and gratitude using the Gratitude Questionnaire-6 by Michael E. McCullough (2002). Results shall be discussed in light of role of chosen variables and were interpreted in terms of their significance.
