New derivatives of 1,3,4‐oxadiazole and 1,3,4‐thiadiazole were synthesized by a palladium catalyzed Suzuki cross‐coupling reaction under the conditions of the phase transfer catalysis. The structure of the products, the absorption and emission spectra were also studied.
New derivatives of 2,5-bis(4-heteroarylphenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole were synthesized under Suzuki cross-coupling reactions from 2,5bis(4-bromophenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole and commercially available boronic acids. Reactions were conducted in a two-phase solvent system in the presence of catalytic amounts of tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0), cesium carbonate as a base, and tetrabutylammonium bromide playing a role of a phase-transfer catalyst.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
