Twelve adenomatoid tumors of the male genital tract are reported; three of them locally invaded the adjacent testis. These cases are compared with two previously reported instances of invasion. No evidence has been found to suggest that those tumors showing local invasion behave differently from the usual adenomatoid tumors. The presence of such invasion should be recognized as a problem in frozen section diagnosis. In view of these observations only local excision of the tumor appears to be indicated.
Summary PCA reactions were produced in guinea pigs with rabbit γG- and guinea pig γG1-antibodies. The histologic picture of PCA reactions with guinea pig γG1 in guinea pigs is similar to the reaction produced with rabbit antibodies. PCA reactions with rabbit and guinea pig γG1-antibodies were partially inhibited by an antihistamine (Neo-Antergan) to the same degree. Depletion of PMN did not diminish the PCA reactions with either antibody. It has been concluded that PMN infiltration is a consequence, and not the determining factor, of PCA reactions in guinea pigs.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
