The study describes the students’ thinking skill, and metacognitive in problem solving reasoning (PSR) learning model at SMAN 19 Makassar in the academic year 2018/2019. The design of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) in which subject was students social science eleventh grade students that consisted of 69 students. Data were collected by using a problem-solving reasoning tests in the form of multiple choice, essay, oral and practice tests. Data of problem solving reasoning (PSR) abilities were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this study show that: (1) The application of problem solving reasoning (PSR) can improve the statistical students’ metacognitive of social science eleventh grade students. In cycle I, the students’ English outcomes average reached 59.2, whereas in cycle II was successfully increased into 84.8, In cycle I, the students’ sociology and anthropology outcomes average reached 60.9, whereas in cycle II was successfully increased into 88.5 and in cycle I, the students’ Art and Culture outcomes average reached 62.3, whereas in cycle II was successfully increased into 86.9. (2) The application of problem solving reasoning (PSR) can improve students' metacognitive of social science XI grade students. These results indicate that there has been an increasing in percentage mastery learning by 20% from cycle I to cycle II.
Pendidikan di Indonesia masih merupakan investasi yang mahal sehingga diperlukan perencanaan keuangan. Pesta sekolah merupakan wujud dukungan dan bentuk kebersamaan masyarakat Manggarai yang sangat tinggi untuk membantu sesama yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membiayai pendidikan anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui mengapa budaya pesta sekolah tetap dipertahankan sampai sekarang di Desa Golo Lebo Kecamatan Elar Kabupaten Manggrai Timur. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penentuan informan pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Pesta sekolah atau sering disebut wuat Wa’i ritual doa bersama saat seseorang atau anggota keluarga merantau (studi). Simbol yang dipakai saat acara (berdoa) yaitu dengan dibunuhnya seekor ayam putih sebagai silih persembahan. Dagingnya dimakan bersama dan bagian dalam ditaruh dalam wadah lalu diberikan kepada leluhur sebagai symbol bahwa mereka juga hadir dalam upacara tersebut dan selalu membimbing si calon perantau. dan harapan itu bisa disimbolkan dengan ungkapan lalong bakok du lakom lalong rombeng du kolem yang artinya pergi dengan sebuah harapan semoga pulang membawa keberhasilan. Dan jika si anak menyelesaikan kuliah kelak dan jika si anak menyelesaikan kuliah kelak maka dilakukan pula acara syukuran dengan menyembelih seeokor ayam hitam sebagai ungkapan syukur dan terimakasih kepada tuhan dan para leluhur yang telah melindungi dan membimbing si anaka selama menyelesaikan studinya ditanah rantau. Pesta sekolah masih tetap dipertahankan sampai saat ini di Desa Golo Lebo karena sangat bermanfaat bagi perkembangan anak, sebagai ajang memberikan nasihat bagi anak yang akan melanjutkan pendidikan serta sebagai pemupuk rasa persaudaraan/persatuan diantara warga masyarakat. This study aims to determine the increase in motivation to learn mathematics on the implementation of Guided Note Taking learning strategies in third grade students of SD Negeri Kassi Makassar City. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is recycled/cycled with a focus on the implementation of the Guided Note Taking strategy. And the subjects in this study were third grade students of SD Negeri Kassi Makassar City with a total of 29 students. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, documentation, and observations regarding student learning activities during the learning process. The discussion of the results of the teacher activity research in the first cycle was in the sufficient category (C) while in the second cycle it increased to good (B). Likewise, the student activities in the first cycle were in the sufficient category (C) while in the second cycle increased to the good category (B). The results showed that in the first cycle the motivation to learn mathematics in the class was in the less category (K) and in the second cycle it increased and was in the good category (B). The conclusion of this study is that the application of Guided Note Taking learning strategies can increase the learning motivation of third grade students of SD Negeri Kassi Makassar City.
This study aimed to determine the impact of socio-economic status on the performance at SMP Negeri 2 Parigi, Gowa Regency. This study uses a correlational with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was SMP Negeri 2 Parigi teachers in Gowa Regency, totaling 18 teachers, Collection technique data by questionnaire. Data processing techniques using SPSS t test, namely for looking for a correlation between the variables X and Y. In calculating the hypothesis obtained value Sig 0.031. Data collection techniques through questionnaires. These results indicate that the Sig value is less than 0.05 (0.031 less than 0.05). This means that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher is accepted, namely there is positive and significant influence in the study entitled "Status Influence Socio-Economy on the Performance of Economics Teachers in SMP Negeri 2 Parigi can be tested the truth. Thus it can be concluded that socioeconomic status is very influential and significant on teacher performance. In the sense that this research able to answer the truth of the hypothesis proposed.
