This article aims to describe the determination of leaders in education management. Library studies are conducted to explore a variety of relevant sources. The resources used came from reputable books and journals. The sources were searched and searched according to their intended purpose. Methods used to collect research data in the form of literature data that have been selected, searched, presented, and analyzed. The source of this research data looks for library data whose substance blinds the act of processing philosophically and theoretically. The data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis. The results of the library study revealed that the determination of leaders in education management includes the motivation of the work of leaders consisting of intentions, taqwa, and sincere; hard work; sincerity; confidence, and good quality of working life. A good leader is a leader who can perform his role and functions properly with a strong determination with measurable parameters. The results revealed the influence of leadership in education management.
Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika model TIMSS pada konten bilangan ditinjau dari kecerdasan logis-matematis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 7 siswa kelas VIII yang memiliki kecerdasan logis-matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah yang diambil menggunakan teknik snowball. Artikel ini khusus menyajikan profil kemampuan pemecahan masalah bagi siswa dengan kecerdasan logis-matematis tinggi yaitu Andini Nur Rahmadani dan Sinta Septiana. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dan metode wawancara. Triangulasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan kedua metode tersebut untuk pemeriksaan keabsahan data. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa berkecerdasan logis-matematis tinggi mampu memahami masalah, dalam merencanakan pemecahan masalah tidak semua mampu membuat rencana yang tepat, mampu melakukan perhitungan sesuai rencana yang disusun, dan sebagian melakukan tahapan memeriksa kembali jawaban. The purpose of this study is describing the mathematical problem solving ability of the TIMSS model on number content viewed from logicalmathematical intelligence. 7 students of class VIII chosen as subjects by the snowball technique. This article specifically presents the profile of problem solving skills for students with high logical-mathematical intelligence. Data collection methods using the test method and interview method. Triangulation is done by comparing the two methods to check the validity. Reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions conducted to analyze the data. The results of the study concluded that the problem solving skills of students with high logicalmathematical intelligence were able to understand the problem, in planning to solve the problem not all were able to carry out the right plan, able to make calculations according to the plans, and some looking back to checking the answers.
Mathematics is a science that deals with the study of abstract forms so that it requires objects or visual aids to concretize them to become more tangible and clear. Science and technology has developed rapidly in education, one of which is an android-based learning media. The purpose of this study was to develop an Android-based learning media on mathematics specifically in the form of algebraic for students in grade VII of SMP Negeri 2 Kartasura. Furthermore, after the development, the validity and feasibility tests were conducted by media experts, material experts, learning practitioners and students. This research conducted by Research and Development (R&D) method. In its development, 6 stages must be passed namely the analysis phase, the planning phase, the development phase, the verification phase, the validation phase, and the final phase with the learning media called OBAR. The developed media was feasible with the result of validation from media experts obtaining an average score of 3.94, was valid. The result of the validation from material experts obtained an average score of 4.5, was very valid. The results of validation by learning practitioners obtained an average score of 4.2, was valid. Moreover, the validation of the students’ responses obtained an average score of 4.54, was most feasible category.

The study of mathematical proofs is separated between construct a mathematical proof and comprehending a given proof. This article is aimed to discuss the notion of mathematical proving ability which is combined from two ability: construction and comprehension of proofs. The assessment of this ability is derived from assessing both construction and comprehension.
