Higher education is an education level that includes diplomat, undergraduate and doctoral programs. The purpose of higher education is to improve the quality of the workforce, to help improve the quality of the workforce each university must have the facilities needed in teaching and learning activities. This study discusses the Analysis of the K-Means Method in the Grouping of Universities by Province Based on the Facilities of the Village. Sources of data obtained from data collected based on documents from 2003 to 2018 through the website of the Indonesian Statistics Agency. Data is processed into 2 clusters, namely the highest facility level cluster (C1) and the lowest facility level cluster (C2). So that obtained from 34 provinces 3 provinces are grouped in high facility level clusters (C1) and 31 provinces are grouped in low facility level clusters (C2). This can be input to the government for provinces that have higher education institutions that still have inadequate facilities in each village and are of more concern to the government based on the cluster that is being conducted. Keywords: K-Means, Higher education, Grouping, Facilities
The voting system is a set of rules that determine how people’s intentions may be manifest and how decisions can be achieved. Normally, vote papers are placed in the voting box and then will be sorted and calculated manually. But the problem is the use of manpower in calculating the vote manually may lead to error in the counting of votes and it takes a long time to complete the calculation process. For this purpose, an electronic voting machine (EVM) was introduced, where in this work it replace the conventional voting method in which the vote card will be calculated automatically. This paper focusing on implementation of embedded system which will help in the election process, where the Arduino UNO uses as a controller. This system uses a simple counting system based on the detection of black mark on the vote card using infrared (IR) sensor. Then, LCD 16x2 will display the number of votes for the respective candidate and the servo motor will activate to sort the valid and invalid vote card into 2 compartments in the voting box.
Chicken livestock is an animal farm that is growing in the district. Panei of North Sumatra. Cut chicken is the most common in livestock by the community, because the demand for the production of broiler chicken is always increasing rapidly every month. Most breeders have difficulty calculating income in the following month, because the following month's income can support the productivity of future chicken. In order to overcome this problem, artificial intelligence systems such as Fuzzy Tsukamoto are needed. This fuzzy Tsukamoto method was chosen because each consequence of the rules in the form of IF-THEN is represented by using a fuzzy set of monotonous membership functions and can help farmers to calculate their maximum income every month. The results of the Tsukamoto fuzzy method are in the form of a calculation that generates the following month's income on the Buntu Above Breeds that are prioritized in order to help farmers advance their business.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
