The use of renewable energy based on solar energy has been developed in recent years in the form of solar cells, especially DSSC. SnO2 semiconductor has the largest band gap of 3,6 eV and TiO2 in anatase and rutile has a value of 3,2 and 3,0 eV. SnO2 and TiO2 have some similarities in electronic and structural properties. In this study, the formation of TiO2/SnO2 composites was performed using variations Wt% of TiO2 100%, 97%, 94%, 88%, and 85%. We used coprecipitation techniques for TiO2 nanoparticles (NP), while sol gel for SnO NP. The analysis of XRD data showed that TiO2 NP match with anatase structure with grain size of 8,89 nm and 28 nm for SnO2 NP. We also found that efficiency increases with increasing mass of TiO2. The maximum efficiency value was noted at 100% TiO2 is 0,18%.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
