This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of developing digital-based teaching materials in Animaker-assisted animated videos aimed at grade V elementary school students on Comparison and Scale subject matter. This was done because problems often arise regarding the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. Teachers have also been required to be active and creative in developing learning systems in the classroom that coexist with technological advances. In this study, the learning system developed is on teaching materials. This researcher uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research is subjected to elementary school students in Langkat Regency. Data collection is done using assessments by material experts, media experts, homeroom teachers, and students. Overall based on media experts reached 81.25%, material experts reached 81.25%, homeroom teachers reached an average of 82%, and the average student response of 87% was classified as high so that it could be stated that Animaker-based animation videos on Comparison and Scale materials were feasible to be used as teaching material facilities in the classroom.
Karo coffee is a leading commodity in Karo Regency which has the potential to be developed because it can improve the welfare of farmers. Research objectives analyse internal factors and external factors that influence the development of coffee plant farming (Coffea, sp) in Suka village and formulate alternatives in developing coffee plant farming in Suka village, Karo Regency. The data analysis method used is SWOT analysis. The results of the study are the Internal Factors of strength, namely natural resources, coffee taste, human resources, coffee harvest time, farmer groups, and transportation access. The dominant force affecting the development of coffee farming in the research area is human resources. Internal factors of weakness are coffee plant seeds, coffee marketing, coffee farmer partnerships, coffee processing, and coffee plant maintenance. The most dominant weakness is the maintenance of coffee plants. Opportunity external factors are: location of coffee cultivation, demand for coffee, profit of coffee farming and quality of coffee beans. The most dominant opportunity is the demand for coffee. External threat factors are: coffee farming competition, climate change, coffee pests and diseases and coffee prices. The most dominant threat is competition in coffee farming. The development of coffee farming in the research area is in quadrant I. The focus of development that must be carried out is to maximize internal strengths and take advantage of existing opportunities. Keywords: [Development, coffee plant]
Fungal growth is influenced by various kinds of additional nutrients provided, including the addition of molasses and liquid organic fertilizer from fruit waste. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect and interaction of adding molasses and liquid organic fertilizer on baglog media on the growth and production of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). The research was conducted from May-July 2022 at the Center for Breeding and Development of Oyster Mushroom Cultivation on Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency. The research method used was a 2-factor factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), 16 treatment combinations and 2 replications so that there were 32 baglogs. The first factor consisted of 4 levels of treatment, namely M0: no treatment (control), M1: 7.5 ml/baglog, M2: 15 ml/baglog and M3: 22.5 ml/baglog. The second factor consisted of 4 levels of treatment, namely P0: no treatment (control), P1: 7.5 ml/baglog, P2: 15 ml/baglog and P3: 22.5 ml/baglog. Parameters observed were mycelium growth rate (cm), stalk height (cm), hood diameter (cm), hood thickness (mm), number of branches/clumps, and wet weight (g). In the mycelium growth rate parameter, the highest data was found in the P0 treatment of 20.62 cm. In the stalk height parameter, the highest data was found in the M0 treatment of 7.17 cm. In the hood diameter parameter, the highest data was found in the M2 treatment of 10.55 cm. In the hood thickness parameter, the highest data was found in the M2 treatment of 5.11 mm. In the parameter of the number of branches, the highest data is found in the P3 treatment of 9.63. In the wet weight parameter, the highest data in the P3 treatment was 126.38 g.
