Langston Hughes was an American artist, writer, and dramatist whose African-American subjects made him an essential supporter of the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s. Langston Hughes was conceived on February 1, 1902, in Joplin, Missouri. He distributed his first lyric in 1921. He went to Columbia University, yet left following one year to travel. He proceeded to compose incalculable works of verse, writing and plays, and in addition a prominent section for the Chicago Defender. He passed away from this world on May 22, 1967. The basic motive of this research paper is to investigate Paulo Coelho as an optimistic writer through his writings. In this regard researchers use subjective study in which they put their opinions about Coelho’s optimistic ideas with the reference of his writings. The researchers select three novels in this way such as, “The Alchemist”, “The Fifth Mountain” and “Brida”. The researchers used all these novels as primary sources in this research paper. The researchers depict Coelho’s attitude, views, opinions and vision about his characters through his writing style. The researchers interpret Coelho’s optimism on the basis of existentialism philosophy.
The purpose of this study is to describe the experience and meaning shown by SPINK supporters in their activities to support their favorite team Persipur Purwodadi. This is descriptive qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. This research setting is located at the SPINK supporter home base. The research subjects were 10 SPINK supporters. The primary data sources are interviews with informants and direct observation of the research subjects and the secondary data were obtained from videos, photos and other supporting documents. Furthermore, the data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews (deep interviews). The instrument used was the researcher as a key instrument. And the data analysis used the procedures recommended in phenomenological research including the stages of horizonalization, textural description, and structural description according to Creswell. The results present a textural and structural description, and the essence of the meaning of the experience of Persipur (SPINK) supporters. In detail, the textural descriptions illustrate that SPINK supporters experience includes (1) tour, (2) vagrancy, (3) new friends, (4) politicization, (5) petition, (6) mandatory, (7) conflict, (8) intimidation, and (9) moral ethics. The structural description describes the settings and context in which the experience takes place. While the essence of experience is explored from the meaning attached by the participants to their experience which includes the meaning of (1) the wisdom of experience, (2) supporter functions, and (3) enhancing creativity.
