During this pandemic era, learning becomes inseparable with technology. Online learning can be an alternative in using technology during the current Covid-19 condition. An example is shown through the use of Flip PDF Professional electronic module (e-module). Therefore, this research and development of an e-module on the Introduction to Nuclear Physics is carried out. This study aimed to describe the validity of the e-module developed. Research and Development method was selected for this study, and ASSURE model was further implemented with the focus on utilizing the developed instructional material. The instrument used in this study is an e-module validation sheet. The data analysis showed that the developed e-module fell into score of 83.80% which was categorized as “valid” category. Thus, Introduction to Nuclear Physics e-module is a suitable teaching material alternative during the Covid-19 pandemic. Further studies are suggested to investigate the practicality and effectiveness of this e-module.
This study aimed to explain the effectiveness of Introduction to Nuclear Physics E-Module as a teaching material during Covid-19 Pandemic descriptively. The e-module was made by using Flip PDF Professional application. This study aimed to: (1) describe students’ learning outcomes before and after the implementation of e-module, (2) analyze the effectiveness of e-module descriptively through normalized Gain <g>; (3) describe the practicality of the e-module according to students as the users. The research instruments consisted of students’ test results and practicality questionnaire in the use of nuclear physics e-module. The results obtained showed that: (1) There was a difference of the pretest-posttest mean score descriptively; (2) The e-module was effective descriptively to boost students’ learning outcomes through normalized Gain analysis <g>; (3) The practicality of the e-module was in the ‘very practical’ category based on students as the users. Therefore, The nuclear physics e-module can be applied as the effort to provide teaching material in physics lecture during Covid-19 pandemic.
This article focuses on analyzing the effectiveness of applying Game Based Learning on Logic Gate Material to student learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. This study uses a one group pretest and posttest design. This study uses a one group pretest and posttest design. The treatment given in this research is the application of game based learning. Game based learning using the game “Circuit Scramble.apk. This research was conducted at the Physics Education Study Program at Lambung Mangkurat University. The research subjects are Physics education students taking digital electronics courses in 2019. Data is collected using pre-test and post-test about logic gate. Pre-test and post-test data were tested for normality then N-gain test. N-gain test results obtained a value of 0.703. Therefore, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the application of game based learning is in the high category. Thus, Game based learning on effective logic gate material is applied to improve student learning outcomes.
This article discusses the existence of a trend of historical facts interpretation in producing exposition paragraph in historical writing.The objective of this study is to identify historical writing variation in the form of exposition paragraph through interpretation of historical facts.This study uses a historiographic and library research method in the field of linguistics and history. The results show that historical paragraphs can be written in variesforms; it could be in form of narration, historical paragraphs, and in form of exposition that related to the writing form of history. The paragraph of history can be written by keeping the existence of the analytical element in them according to the reasoning ability of its writers. The explanation about history in the form of writing by interpreting historical facts has resulted in an exposition paragraph. This is related to the method of historical writing that should be used as a guide in the writing of history. With an exposition form, historical paragraphs can explain events of history according to the topic of the text. The impact from the existence of that thing is the occurrence of the writing of historical paragraphs not just in one type of paragraph. There is a paragraph of history in the form of a narrative. There are also historical paragraphs in the form of exposition. Thus, bothhave contributed to the development of the writing of history.
