Abstract-Cryptography plays a vital role for ensuring secure communication between multiple entities. In many contemporary studies, researchers contributed towards identifying best cryptography mechanisms in terms of their performance results. Selection of cryptographic technique according to a particular context is a big question; to answer this question, many existing studies have claimed that technique selection is purely dependent on desired quality attributes such as efficiency and security. It has been identified that existing reviews are either focused only towards symmetric or asymmetric encryption types. Another limitation is found that a criterion for performance comparisons only covers common parameters. In this paper, we have evaluated the performance of different symmetric and asymmetric algorithms by covering multiple parameters such as encryption/decryption time, key generation time and file size. For evaluation purpose, we have performed simulations in a sample context in which multiple cryptography algorithms have been compared. Simulation results are visualized in a way that clearly depicts which algorithm is most suitable while achieving a particular quality attribute.
Historically, mosque is the center for human civilization with various activities covering social, economy, and culture. However, its function have been shifted and specialized into a place of worship. This paper aims to describe the contribution of the great mosque of Attaqwa Pancor in social economic empowerment, particularly small businesses in Pancor, East Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). The Data are collected through observation, interview, and document study. The result of the analysis shows that mosque involvement in the small-scale economic activities has brought them to be free from the difficulty of capital access and dependence. In the first stage, that is the period of 2019 to August 2020, through Mawar Emas program, total of 80 small-traders in Pancor village was helped to be free from debt problems. The great mosque of Attaqwa which is supported by Indonesia Sharia Economic Community (Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah, MES) were successfully distributing the total amount of 80 million rupiahs for the small business purposes. The existence of the Attaqwa mosque proves and affirms that religious institutions can contribute to the social economic development. Considering the strategic position, this paper suggests the need for institutional reinforcement of mosque to restore its broad role in addition to religious issues.JEL Classification: A13; O15; Z12
Since the beginning of its long history, egypt has continuously experienced and practised despoliation and looting of monuments, of its past from antiquity through the 19th century, and it is clearly visible that many Islamic monuments have been built with materials removed from ancient buildings. Also the city of rome is built of layers and layers of history. It was this fascinating accumulation of history, literally, the accumulation of old stones in medieval buildings, which first triggered our research into the field of Spolia -i.e. the art or historical term for older building elements reused in a new context. In light of the previous context; the researchers in this paper are trying to shed light on the phenomenon of the reusing of some architectural elements in Islamic architecture in cairo, in order to outline the reasons for such phenomenon and its motives, and examine the types of those elements and places of their existence in Islamic architecture through examples of intact Islamic monuments in cairo such as the Al-Nasir muhammad ibn Qalawun mosque.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
