Social media have become popularly use to seek for medical information and have fascinated the general public to collect information regarding corona virus pandemics in various perspectives. During these days, people are forced to stay at home and the social media have connected and supported awareness and pandemic updates. The present study aims at highlighting the present situation of Indonesian society, where the outbreak position is quite high. The study collects the data from social media users from March and April 2020. The data were also compiled from the secondary sources, like opinions, the literature and scientific articles from reputable journals. The total number of 348 responses were collected from respondents through random sampling technique, and the majority respondents show positive attitudes toward using social media as medical information instruments. The results demonstrate that social media have been used to seek social supports from the respondents' online networks and offline friends, relatives, and colleagues. The study also examines that the usage of social media platforms is perceived as easy and accessible to every individual for sharing, posting, and reacting to any medical information regarding the pandemic. Since people continue work from home, and ensuring the social distance, so, the majority of users have seen family and friends have provided support and attempt to raise awareness by sharing and circulating a range of information within their closed-social network.
The aim of this paper to develop a model to measure sustainability for education and incorporate the literature big data adoption and knowledge management sharing in the educational environment. This paper hypothesizes that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived risk, and behavioral intention to use big data should influence adoption of big data, while age diversity, cultural diversity, and motivators should impact knowledge management sharing. Therefore, knowledge management sharing influences behavior intention to use technologies and big data adoption would be positively associated with sustainability for education. This paper employed a version of TAM and motivation theory as the research framework and adopted quantitative data collection and analysis methods by surveying 214 university students who were chosen through stratified random sampling. Student's responses were sorted into the 11 study constructs and analyzed to explain their implication of sustainability on education. The data were then quantitatively analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived risk, and behavioral intention to use big data were significant determinants of big data adoption, while age diversity, cultural diversity, and motivators were significant determinants of knowledge management sharing. The knowledge management sharing, behavior intention to use technologies, and big data adoption succeeded in explaining 66.7% of sustainability on education. This paper aims to bridge the literature gap concerning the use of social media to conduct collaboration learning and explore its effect on student performance through cyberstalking (CS) and cyberbullying (CB). To achieve the study objective, this study employed a questionnaire as the main data collection method and distributed it to 538 university students based on both the technology acceptance model and constructivism theory, all of whom use social media. The findings were obtained via a quantitative research method, structural equation modeling. This study found a significant relationship between perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived enjoyment with social media use for open learning. However, this study found a negative relationship from social media use on open learning that was dampened by CB, which is considered a dampening factor. Also, open learning was reported to be negatively influenced by perceived usefulness as CS was found to dampen the relationship with open learning. The Coronavirus pandemic originated in China at the end of 2019, the virus festered there for four months before spreading globally. Impacting the developed and developing world including Indonesia. It has transformed social, economic and political practices social life, everyday habits and government policies, with multi-dimensional consequences on human life. The present study endeavours to explore the relationship between religiosity, social capital, and psychological well-being of the general public, particularly in terms of coping with the pandemic. In addition to this, the study aims to highlight the importance of public awareness regarding social distancing, use of religion as a coping mechanism, and living a healthy lifestyle during pandemic. For knowing the perception of the masses, an online survey by using a self-administered questionnaire was carried out among coronavirus patients, the general public, social media activists, students, and professionals across Indonesia. The findings indicate that the pandemic has altered the lifestyle of the masses in different ways and that people have varied perceptions towards this virus regarding its spread and preventive measures. The study also reveals that, social capital (β = .418, p < .001), psychological well-being (β = .343, p < .001), and religious coping (β = .145, p <. 01) have a significant amount of the variance of coronavirus situational stress (F = 69.77, p < .001, R2 = 0.485). Lastly, the study suggests that, adopting preventative measures, standard operating procedures that are sustainable and healthy forms of coping with the pandemic will be equally as important as medical care in order to contain and eventually eradicate the virus.
