It has also been reported that seed priming improves emergence, stand establishment, Germination index, Shoot length, Root length, Shoot fresh and dry weight, and Root fresh and dry weight. Keeping in view the desirable effect of seed priming on seed germination and further establishment, the experiment was planned to evaluate the effect of different seed priming with different time duration.
