Ujung Pangkah mangrove ecosystem in the estuary of Bengawan Solo River is one of the mangrove ecosystems in East Java Province. In addition to its ecological functions, the presence of extensive mangrove forests with highly diversified fauna gives it the potential to be developed asa future tourism object. This study aimed to determine mangrove ecosystems for potential tourism development in Ujung Pangkah, Gresik Regency, East Java. The structure of the mangrove ecosystem was obtained by analyzing the mangrove vegetation, while land suitability and determination of suitable activity in mangrove area were obtained through multi-criteria analysis. According to the study, there were 7 species of mangrove found in Ujung Pangkah. Avecenia marina and Rhizophora apiculata were commonly found in the area. The type of ecotourism activities considered as very appropriate in the Ujung Pangkah mangrove area included jogging, specifically in Banyu Urip Village (84.52%), fishing in Pangkah Kulon Village (83.23%), and Pangkah Wetan Village (83.23%).
Indonesia's environmental services and natural resources have great potential both on land and sea, especially for tourism purposes. One of the tourism sectors comes from coastal tourism. The development of coastal tourism areas must lead to a planned development in a comprehensive manner so that optimal benefits can be obtained for the community. The research was conducted in Labuhan village which is one of the coastal villages in Lamongan Regency. The method used was survey and observation methods coupled with closed interviews with questionnaires, while natural parameters were carried out by field observation. The research aims to analyze, choose the right type of tourism activity according to the suitability index of the type of tourism activity on Kutang beach, Labuhan village, Brondong District, Lamongan Regency. Data analysis was done by means of multi criteria analysis. This analysis is developed based on utility theory, with the assumption that a person's total (composite) utility is formed as an aggregate of the many attributes (components) that make up the utility. The type of tourism activity which is categorized as very suitable or feasible to do in the Kutang beach area is in the form of tracking activities with a suitability value of 84% and Safari Photo of 83%. Alternative types of activities (according to condition) are Canoeing with a suitability value of 80%, fishing and culinary 77% and swinging 74%.
The practices of worship involve the relationship between humans and themselves, humans and humans, humans and God, and even the relationship between humans and the environment in which they live. With the power of human imagination, when the relationships are practiced properly according to God's direction, then there comes surrender, obedience, and devotion in worshiping God. Spiritual hyperreality or hyperspirituality has created practices of worship that are based on simulating pure rituals as taught by prophets, even though they are ritual formations far from the prophetsnes. Because of the signs of worship practice are based on simulations or self-imaginations, then what appears is falsehood and lies on the signs of the practice of worship. This paper intends to unmask hyperreality in spiritual activities that have been considered sacred. This paper uses semiotics as its approach, especially those introduced by Bartes, Piliang and Baudrillard. this study found that when the practice of worship has been separated from it's pure rituals as taught by prophets and formed a simulation, the practice of worship is only a means of imaging, style personality, and reproduction machinery.
As an institution of education and agent of social change, the Faculty of Da'wah, IAIN Salatiga, has Islamic religious characteristics. These characteristics confirm its missionary effort as a part of social responsibility. The Da'wah Faculty pursues empowerment by rolling out a program of waste bank management. This program is a manifestation of the application of da’wah bi al-hal (preaching by actuating) to build assisted-communities who are empowered and independent in processing garbage. Furthermore, the program of waste bank management not only provides clean and healthy communities but also increases the community’s ability to gain environmental benefits and improving its economy. This study aims to analyze the implementation of da’wah movement through waste bank management, from assessment, recycling management, construction, to evaluation. The method of research in this study uses a qualitative method, Participatory Action Research (PAR) to make changes and benefits for the community, and empowerment theory as the mainframe of thought in carrying out da’wah bi al-hal. The results of participatory action research showed that preaching by actuating of Da’wah Faculty IAIN Salatiga in the assisted-communities has increased participation, trust, and cooperative relationships among them in managing the waste bank.
