There is no doubt that the semiconductor contributed very significantly to changing our world in the long run, which made it very necessary to write this article and shed light on the semiconductor between past and present. Whereas, this article is not intended to teach you semiconductor chemistry and its applications, but it also aims to refresh your memory with everything related to semiconductors from the moment of sunrise to the present day.As known, people need to communicate with each other in order to meet their daily and professional needs. In the past, the communication process was very difficult and sometimes costly until the emergence of what is known as semiconductors, which in turn opened new purview in the world of communications through its entry into the communication devices industry and computers industry and its ability to processing The data, in turn, facilitated and summarized a very long journey on humans in the field of industry. Today, we are on the beginning of a new sun rise of semiconductor, especially after the emergence of the so-called nanotechnology, where semiconductors have been observed a very large role in the development of this technology, not only but have become Part of the integral ones.
Many researches have focused on the health and therapeutics properties and behaviour of phytochemical products, that including bee products. Bee pollen comprises on very large compounds such as flavonoids, phenolic acids and terpenoids, which have inhibiting effect on some enzymes. Monoamine oxidase (MAO) was an important metabolic enzyme. The aims of this study was to evaluation the effects of aqueous and ethanolic extracts of bee pollen on MAO and activities in human sera. The identification of extracts constituents was carried out by GC-Ms analysis technique. The results of the present study manifested the effectiveness of these two extracts which have an inhibitory effects on MAO. Different extracts and volumes have been used in this study which shows the inhibition percentage at maximum level equal to (79, 57) % in MAO and (57.33) % in ethanolic and aqueous extracts respectively. The recorded Km values in ethanolic extract were higher than Km in the aqueous extract, whereas the recorded Vmax values in aqueous extract were higher than Vmax in ethanolic extract. On the other hand, GC-Ms analysis of bee pollen extracts revealed the existence of 40 compounds.
Two Schiff bases, namely, 3-(benzylidene amino) -2-thioxo-6-methyl 2,5-dihydropyrimidine-4(3H)-one (LS])and 3-(benzylidene amino)-6-methyl pyrimidine 4(3H, 5H)-dione(LA)as chelating ligands), were used to prepare some complexes of Cr(III), La(III), and Ce(III)] ions. Standard physico-chemical procedures including metal analysis M%, element microanalysis (C.H.N.S) , magnetic susceptibility, conductometric measurements, FT-IR and UV-visible Spectra were used to identify Metal (III) complexes and Schiff bases (LS) and (LA). According to findings, a [Cr(III) complex] showed six coordinated octahedral geometry, while [La(III), and Ce(III) complexes]were structured with coordination number seven. Schiff's bases and mineral complexes were examined in vitro to investigate potential inhibition against Gram-positive bacteria such as Pseudonomous aerugionosa and Gram-negative bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus. The low concentration for inhibition has been also determined by studying the minimal inhibitory concentrations MIC .Antibiotics (Ampicillin, Amoxicillin) have been chosen to contrast their activity. Furthermore, Anti-fungal activity against two types of fungi ʺAspergillus flavusʺ and ʺPenicillum Spp.ʺ was studied for these compounds. The results of the antibacterial activity were better compared to the standard drugs.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
