Pokdakan Maju Bersama Mesuji, which is in Sungai Badak Village, Mesuji District, Mesuji District, Lampung, is a group of economically productive people and potential entrepreneurs with fish farming activities in the form of growing consumption fish and local fish, especially snakehead fish. The difficult problems in the development of snakehead culture in Sungai Badak village, Mesuji Regency, are the limited availability of seeds and the slow growth of fish. These cause the business to be carried out on-off or suffer losses. This community service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of pokdakan members in producing continuous and quality snakehead seeds independently and stimulate job creation. This activity was carried out through Focus Group Discussions, and organizing counseling and training on snakehead fish hatchery technology and increasing the growth of snakehead fish with the application of recombinant growth hormone. Participants were given a written test to measure how successful the technology transfer is. The results obtained from this activity were that the knowledge and skills of the trainees increased from an average score of 58 to 85 in hatchery technology transfer (32%) and increased from an average score of 35 to 66 in the transfer of recombinant growth hormone application technology (31%) (scale 0- 100). The increase in the value of these participants is presumably because most of the participants are fish cultivators who are used to carrying out aquaculture activities but do not know the basics. So that with this activity it is hoped that it can improve the economy of cultivator families and make Mesuji Regency a fish center and support inclusive and sustainable economic growth. In general, the two technology transfers in this activity increased the percentage of participants' knowledge and skills by 31.5% and this activity was successful.
Kalsium merupakan salah satu makromineral yang berperan penting dalam proses pengerasan kulit udang pasca molting. Pada tambak salinitas rendah, sering mengalami kekurangan kalsium yang dapat berdampak pada kegagalan molting udang bahkan menyebabkan kematian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pertumbuhan, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, dan rasio konversi pakan udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) yang dipelihara pada media kultur salinitas rendah dengan penambahan konsentrasi mineral kalsium berbeda. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada media bersalinitas 5 ppt, menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut berupa penambahan makromineral kalsium yang berbeda, yaitu: A (0 mg/L), B (50 mg/L), C (100 mg/L), dan D (150 mg/L). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan kalsium yang berbeda pada media salinitas rendah berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, dan rasio konversi pakan udang vaname. Pertumbuhan terbaik terjadi pada perlakuan penambahan kalsium 0 mg/L (kontrol) yaitu sebesar 0,56±0,18 g, sementara tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan konversi pakan terbaik terjadi pada perlakuan 50 mg/L yaitu 54,3±0,38% dan 1,4±0,1.
In this study, the nature of the weekly stock price relationships of several Qatar energy companies, namely the weekly stock price of Qatar Fuel Company (QFLS), Qatar Gas Transport Company (QGTS), and Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC), will be discussed. The duration of data weekly stock price is from January 2015 to April 2022. This study aimed to obtain the best model for the weekly stock price relationship of the three companies QFLS, QGTS, and QEWC. The multivariate time series analysis method will be used to evaluate the data. From the analysis using multivariate time series modeling, the best model is VAR(3)-GARCH)(1,1). Based on this best model, further analysis is carried out, namely Granger causality, impulse response function (IRF), and forecasting for the next 12 periods. The Granger causality test found that the QFLS has Granger causality on the QGTS (unidirectional), while the QGTS and QEWC variables have bidirectional Granger causality. The IRF analysis indicated that if there is a shock of 1 standard deviation in QFLS, then QFLS and QEWC will fluctuate for the first six weeks and move toward equilibrium from the seventh week onwards, while the impact on QGTS can be ignored. Suppose there is a shock of 1 standard deviation in the QGTS. In that case, the QFLS and QEWC will respond by fluctuating for the first six weeks, and at the seventh week and move toward equilibrium, while the impact on QGTS can be ignored; and if there is a shock of 1 standard deviation in QEWC, then QFLS and QEWC will respond negatively and fluctuating for the first six weeks, and at the seventh week toward equilibrium, while the impact on QGTS is negligible. Forecasting for the next 12 periods shows that the farther the forecasting period, the larger the standard error. This indicates that the ffarther the period is, the more unstable it is.
