Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh Work-Life Balance dan stres kerja terhadap turnover intention dimediasi kepuasan kerja Account officer Bank Syariah di Kota Medan. Lokasi penelitian ini berada di Kota Medan dengan subyek penelitian adalah Bank Syariah di Kota Medan, Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 150 Account Officer, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Probability Sampling dengan teknik simple random sampling, penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin. Teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan path analysis. Hasil Penelitian secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa Work life balance dan Stres kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, Work life balance dan stress kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention, Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Work life balance berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap turnover intention tanpa melalui kepuasan kerja, kepuasan kerja bukan variabel intervening, Stres kerja berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap turnover intention tanpa melalui kepuasan kerja, kepuasan kerja bukan variabel intervening.
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of female board of directors on company performance. Using a sample of 144 family firms in Indonesia in the period 2018 to 2020. This study examines the relationship between female directors and corporate accounting (ROA and ROE) and market-based performance (Tobin's Q). This study uses a panel data approach with OLS measurements and fixed effects model measurements. This study found that female ownership significantly lowers Tobin's Q. While female CEOs have a negative effect on ROA. Furthermore, the ownership and presence of women on the board has no effect on ROA. In measuring company performance as proxied by ROE, it was found that women's ownership, the presence of women on the board, and women's leadership had no effect. Studies on the relationship between gender diversity and financial performance in the context have been carried out in developed economies. This study contributes to the literature related to corporate governance in family companiexs, especially gender diversity in countries with developing economies such as Indonesia. we recommend looking at the role of women in risk and innovation to be able to see the role of opportunities in other fields that can provide evidence that women can advance the company.
In conditions of high competition to find a job, students need to make career preparations as early as possible. Career preparation is begun with making decisions about the career they want to get. Then in making preparations, they need the ability to adapt to the chosen career. In addition, the social support is also needed. This study was conducted on students in one of the private university in Medan, Sumatera Utara. The test results by using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) showed that there were significant positive relationship between the ability of career adaptability and social support with career decision-making self-efficacy. It also concluded that social support partially mediates the relationship between career adaptability and career decisionmaking self-efficacy.
This study aims to determine the level of high school education (SMU) and Higher Education (PT) on the Economy of North Sumatra and to identify the effect of the level of education on the economy in North Sumatra. This type of research is a descriptive study, while the approach used is a quantitative approach with a sample of GRDP data and the Labor Force over 15 years with high school education levels (SMU) and Higher Education (PT) from 2000-2017. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The analysis technique used is the multiple linear regression analysis (OLS) method.The results of this study indicate that partially the level of high school education (SMA) has a positive and not significant effect on the Economy of North Sumatra and the level of education of the University (PT) has a positive and significant effect on the Economy of North Sumatra while simultaneously the level of high school education (SMU) and Higher Education (PT) has a positive and significant impact on the Economy of North Sumatra.
