The aim of this research is to improve environmental awareness in primary school students. For this purpose, the study was carried out within the scope of action research pattern from qualitative research patterns. The study group was determined by selecting easily accessible samples. The study group consisted of second year students attending a state primary school in Gungoren District of Istanbul in the 2018-2019 academic year. The data of the study were obtained by the students’ environmental pictures, observation forms and semi-structured interview forms. The data obtained were analyzed by content analysis. According to the findings of the research, it is determined that students who received environmental education, draw pictures enthusiastically and reflecting environmental awareness, also after interviews students gain awareness toward environment, empathized with nature and draw highly esthetically appreciated pictures.
Dövme yöntemi, tarihte bilinen en eski üretim yöntemlerinden biri olmakla birlikte günümüzde de imalat endüstrisinde sıklıkla kullanılmaktadır. 2019'da dünya geneline bakıldığında, dövme endüstrisinin gayri safi milli hasılaya etkisinin %20 olduğu görülmektedir. Dövme işleminin endüstriyel ekonomi, toplum ve ulusal güvenlik gibi kritik öneme sahip, yüksek mukavemet isteyen üretimi zorlu parçalar için kullanılan bir işlem olarak popülerliğini artıracağı öngörülmektedir. Dolayısıyla sektördeki firmaların imalat hatlarını, performanslarını ve ürün gamlarındaki kalitelerini geliştirmesi gerekmektedir. Dövme işleminde üretim performansını ve kalitesini etkileyen en önemli unsur ise dövme kalıplarında görülen hasarlardır. Literatür incelemelerinde dövme kalıplarındaki hasar sebeplerinin başında aşınmanın geldiği belirlenmiştir. Dolayısıyla kalıp malzemelerinin aşınma dayanımlarını geliştirmenin, sektör için elzem olduğu yadsınamaz bir gerçektir. Bu kapsamda geliştirilen en önemli yöntem malzeme yüzeylerinin sert bir tabaka ile kaplanması işlemidir. Özellikle Fiziksel Buhar Biriktirme (PVD) işlemi ile yüzeye kaplanan nitrür esaslı tabakaların, malzemelerin aşınma özelliklerine eşsiz katkılar sunduğu belirlenmiştir. Kaplanmış malzemenin aşınma performansı, laboratuvar ortamında üretimin çalışma prensibini yansıtacak şekilde aşınma düzenekleri kullanılarak belirlenmektedir. Ancak değerlendirmelerde, bu düzeneklerin dövme işlemini yansıtmada yetersiz kaldığı, dolayısıyla bulguların, mevcut işlem koşullarında değerlendirilmesinin uygun olmadığı düşünülmektedir. Bu doğrultuda, tespit edilen bu önemli eksikliğin giderilmesi amacıyla patent başvurusu da gerçekleştirilen, aşınma test cihazı tasarlanmış ve diğer düzeneklerin eksikliklerini nasıl gidereceği konusunda detaylı analiz verilmiştir.
The main purpose of this study is to show how much learning technologies increase the success in primary school with meta-analysis method. Advanced technologies such as virtual-augmented reality, animation-simulation, inverted classroom application, web-internet course applications, course and game teaching software, which are subject to experimental studies in computerized learning environments, have been included in this meta-analysis study, since they have features that can improve academic achievement. It is taken into account that having features such as; publication in a peer reviewed open-access magazines, the execution of the application by selecting the sample from the primary school in Turkey, listing the mean and standard deviation values and the number of sample group students for the final test, for the articles to be included in this research. It was concluded that advanced technology supported lesson applications in primary school have the ability to increase academic achievement at a very high level. The effect size found (md: 4.17239) is larger than the highest level value statements defined in the literature.
Echinococcosis is a zoonosis caused by cestodes of the genus Echinococcus . This serious disease continues to be an important public health problem as it is endemic in many parts of the world. Cystic disease affects many organs in the body, most commonly the liver. Hydatid disease can cause a diverse spectrum of symptoms, from asymptomatic infection to potential death. In the presence of clinical suspicion, the diagnosis is made by serology and imaging methods. Imaging findings can range from completely cystic lesions to completely solid appearance and calcification. The imaging method to be used depends on the involved organ and the stage of the cyst. The updated recommendations of the World Health Organization-Echinococcosis Informal Working Group for the stage and treatment of human echinococcosis have had important implications. Accordingly, there are 4 approaches to the clinical management of hydatid disease: surgery, percutaneous techniques and drug therapy for active cysts, and a “watch and wait” approach for inactive cysts. Since it directly affects the treatment, it is necessary to be familiar with the imaging findings of the cyst, especially in endemic areas.
