This study aims to determine the effect of halal certification labels on the sale of culinary products in Palembang. Furthermore, this study also wants to know the competitiveness of business actors who have halal certification in Palembang. In addition, to determine the perception of non-Muslim tourists on halal product certification in Palembang. This type of study is empirical research. The questionnaire method was used to obtain research data. The data obtained in this study refer to the problem hypothesis testing. Bivariate linear regression was used as a test tool on the halal label variable to predict an increase in sales and competitiveness and was calculated by SPSS 22. At the same time, explanatory sequential design as a qualitative analysis method is obtained from the description of the questionnaire data. It is used to explain non-Muslim perceptions of halal products. The results of this study indicate several conclusions. First, the sale of culinary products has increased positively with the existence of halal certification labels. In this case, halal certification labels affect the sale of culinary products in Palembang is 19.1%. Second, the competitiveness of business actors has increased positively with halal certification labels. In this case, halal certification labels affect the competitiveness of business actors in Palembang is 8.2%. Third, most non-Muslim tourists have a good perception of the halalness of culinary products in Palembang. In this case, 94.31% of respondents have a good perception of the halalness of a culinary product. Meanwhile, 5.69% of respondents have a bad perception. Therefore, it is recommended for socialization related to the role of halal certificate labels to the general public and culinary business actors in Palembang. In addition, a collaboration between the Association, Community, Government, and Media is needed to encourage culinary business actors in Palembang to play an active role in having a halal certificate label. Next, invite BPJPH to provide information about the steps for registering a halal certificate label.

With the deployment of Belitung as a geopark region by UNESCO, it also saw a significant increase in the growth of the homestay in Belitung. With the devotion of this society, it is expected that the homestay owner will be able to provide the best service given to guests; the homestay owner will need to gain more insight and knowledge on how to make proper and proper bed—enforcement methods. Perform community service through training of homestay management in both theory and practice. The target of dedicated activities is the homestay owner, private employees, entrepreneurs, homemakers, and tourist workers. The result of this activity is (1) a well held, smoothly executed performance, and the participants have the enthusiasm of those participating for three days and two nights; (2) participants are particularly active and follow with high motivation; and (3) trainees gain new skills in making a bed, enabling them to be implemented in the homestay they run so that it can improve the quality of service in their homestay.

Kitinase mampu menghidrolisis kitin dan berpotensi sebagai agen biokontrol. Tujuan penelitian adalah memurnikan dan mengkarakterisasi kitinase dari isolat terpilih, serta menentukan kemampuan kitinolitiknya dalam penghambatan jamur Colletotrichum sp. Aktivitas kitinase ditentukan dengan metode Spindler, sementara kadar protein ditentukan dengan metode Bradford. Produksi kitinase isolat rizobakteri (isolat C5C) menunjukkan aktivitas enzim spesifik tertinggi sebesar 0.0489 U/mg melalui pemurnian parsial NH4SO4 70%, serta dapat meningkatkan kemurnian 13.97 kali dibandingkan ekstrak kasar. Karakterisasi kitinase isolat C5C menunjukkan bahwa enzim aktif optimal  pada suhu 55°C, pH 7, waktu inkubasi 120 menit, serta memiliki nilai Km sebesar 1.300 x 103 mg/L dan Vmaks sebesar 0.0294 mgL-1detik-1. Aktivitas antifungi pada uji in vitro menunjukkan bahwa isolat C5C dapat menghambat pertumbuhan Colletotrichum sp.Kata kunci: biokontrol,Colletotrichum sp.,  kitinase, rizobakteri

The city of Bandung and Subang are tourist attractions that offer a variety of entertainment, especially for family tourists in spending their vacation time. In supporting comfort and service so that tourists spend their time, it is necessary to support facilities ranging from hotels and restaurants that not only offer services for adult guests but also for children. The presence of children's guests is still often considered a minority by hoteliers. This can be seen from several hotels that have not considered the children's menu and facilities in the form of products or services that provide a sense of comfort and safety. This research is a descriptive quantitative study with a sample of hotels in Bandung and Subang where guests are family. The purpose of this study was to see how important the menu and facilities of children owned by hotel entrepreneurs in the City of Bandung and Subang. The results of this study indicate that hotel guest expectations regarding hotel services and facilities have an interval value of> 4.21, which means it is very important. Ratings with the highest scores are inclined to attributes of swimming pools and water parks, children's activities and play spaces as well as complete children's menus.

The purpose of research is to identify potential tourism in the village of Sugih Waras and to plot a strategic move in the development of the tour village Sugih Waras. Data collection is done through in-depth interviews, document study and observation.
