One of the main categories of wastewater at the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex is oil-containing effl uents, which are persistent emulsions of the “oil in water” type, the main component of which is spent lubricating and cooling technical means and compositions of spent detergents. The purpose of the research was to modernize the technology of treatment of emulsion wastewater in agro-industrial complexes. The problem of protection of water reservoirs from pollution by oil-containing wastewater from the territory of enterprises of the agro-industrial complex has been considered. The technology of wastewater treatment using multicomponent sorbents has been developed. The scheme of the general technological solution of the basic hardware design, based on the possible processing methods, is as follows: the spent oil-emulsifying effl uents accumulate in the averaging tank, they sent to the reagent decomposition unit; a suspension of the working concentration is prepared from the dry commercial reagent and is fed by metering pumps to the reagent decomposition unit; preparing a solution of a fl occulating agent working concentration of dry commercial reagent and pumped-dispensers in the node decomposition reagent; in the unit of the reagent decomposition the interaction with sorption-fl occulation agents, and decomposition of the emulsion into clarifi ed water and sludge; from the unit of chemical decomposition maslomolochny wastewater generated sludge and the clarifi ed water is fed into the sump where they are sedimentation separation. Thus, the use of multicomponent sorbents in the technology of treatment of emulsion wastewater can solve a serious problem of the negative impact of ecotoxicants of wastewater on the environment.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
