Synthesis and Biological Activity of Substituted 7-Aza-8-aza(oxa) bicyclo(4.3.0)nona-6,9-dienes. -Reaction of 2-acetylcyclohexanones (I) with hydroxylamine or hydrazine smoothly affords the title heterocycles (II) or (III), resp., which all display moderate inhibitory effects towards bacteriophages T4.
