The article deals with the issue of lexis representation by means of a computer thesaurus. Collocations with the synsemantic verbs 'to do', 'to make' and 'робити' which are the most general verbal units constitute the contents of the two developed computer thesauri. The thesauri will give linguists and language learners useful information concerning the semantic structure of the verbs 'to do', 'to make' and 'робити' and their collocations that can be the basis for further contrastive research. The authors elaborate on the phenomenon of synsemanticity, describe a graphical application for compiling and editing thesauri and present the key principles of thesaurus organization.
