The world was in demand of wood products mainly for interior design, furniture making and household utilizes and at the same time agricultural residue usage was increased for making Engineering woods. Coconut is an abundant crop in Asia and coir fiber was extracted from coconut husk, as by-products. MDF was one of the by-products produced from coir reinforced with resin. In this work, the coconut coir was used to produce hybrid MDF with basalt fiber and phenol-formaldehyde resin hybridization. The panel was prepared with different coir and basalt fiber combinations by keeping a fixed resin percentage. The coir and basalt fiber percentage ranges from 40 to 75 % and 5–40 % respectively. SEM studied the morphological characteristic of the panel whereas thermal stability of the panel was evaluated through Thermo-gravimetric Analysis. The fire resistance was observed through a flammability test. The physical properties and mechanical properties were evaluated by ASTM Standards. From the investigations, the MoR and MoE have a higher value for Panel 3 with 29.14 N/mm
2
and 3143 N/mm
2
respectively and the internal bonding strength shows of 2.1 N/mm
2
maximum values of mechanical properties. The result shows for panel 3 has 15 % and 18 % more strength for MoE and MoR respectively and IB also shows 35 % of increased value.
There are a number of machines available now for floor cleaning. In that many, used for a specific purpose like mopping, vacuum cleaning and combination of both. But all these are operated manually with the help of humans. Nowadays, the technology has developed a lot and a new invention has come to overcome the existing model. Earlier, the moping and vacuum cleaner are combined with a single machine for cleaning the floor. This machine was big and operated manually with human with the continuous movement. But in this project, the movement with the machine was stopped and operated using Wi-Fi signal. With the help of circuit connections, this model was developed in a compact manner for floor cleaning. This floor cleaning machine was designed simply and can be handled very easily by everyone. This helps the people to clean the floor easily in every part of the area by sitting in a place. Here we used Arduino mega 2560 for controlling the working of this machine.
In automobile application, suspensions are used for various purposes. To improve the stability and to withstand maximum load we are trying to add additional source which is called suspension. These suspensions are made attached along with the ordinary suspension. This is manufactured using magnetic fluid called ferrofluid. Here the complete preparation of ferrofluid was done and their characteristics were studied. In this, the experimental setup of suspension has been studied and working was analyzed. The fluid was prepared and compared the viscosity with ordinary fork oil. This liquid substance which acts as a source of suspension, which has maximum efficiency when compared to ordinary fluid. These can be varied to different shapes depending on the application and needs.
