Advancements in Healthcare Internet of Things (H-IoT) systems have created new opportunities and solutions for healthcare services. Through a comprehensive review, Kumar et al. provide insights about secured data accession by employing cryptographic platforms, such as H-IoT in big data, H-IoT in blockchain, H-IoT in machine learning and deep learning, H-IoT in edge computing, and H-IoT in software-defined networks, so that prospective researchers and practitioners may find solutions to mitigate threats caused by different kinds of attacks [1].Mindsponge Theory is a new approach that can be implemented for examining the human mind’s information processing mechanism [2,3]. The framework is highly flexible and widely applicable to many information-processing types. In the study of Kumar et al. [1], the authors used Mindsponge Theory to explain how healthcare providers can absorb and process the information or the large volumes of data provided by H-IoT devices to make informed decisions and provide better care for patients, improving patients’ outcomes and enhancing the quality of care.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
