The findings demonstrate that long-term stable adipose tissue can be engineered in vivo by simple injection of human preadipocytes using fibrin as a carrier material. After further investigation, this approach may represent an alternative to the techniques currently used for soft tissue restoration.
Anti-CLIP antibodies were strongly associated with axSpA. The LR for confirming axSpA by using anti-CLIP was even higher than by using HLA-B27. More studies using this promising new method in patients with non-radiographic axial SpA or peripheral SpA are needed to establish its usefulness in clinical practice.
We describe a patient who experienced severe osteomyelitis because of Mycobacterium avium-intercellulare infection and high-titered autoantibodies against interferon-gamma. In addition to antimycobacterial chemotherapy, we treated our patient with plasmapheresis and cyclophosphamide. The treatment induced a remission after 3 years of follow-up.
