This paper describes the design features and characteristics of the “Fast-acting shut-off and control ball valve” proposed for possible replacement of the existing natural gas supply control systems of boilers and other gas-dispersing plants at the power plant. Application of FSCBV provides improvement of reliability and efficiency of gas economy of TPP due to design features, as well as application of technology of Industrial Internet of Things, which allows on the basis of statistical data to perform qualitative regulation, as well as prediction of possible failures.
The work describes the design and algorithms for controlling the fast-acting shut-off and control ball valve calculation of the reliability of the natural gas flow control system for the power plant boiler. Its application makes it possible to improve the quality of fuel combustion control, as well as to reduce the quantity of shut-off and control valves of gas channel, which in turn also leads to improvement of reliability of the system as a whole.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
