Numerical solutions of the Liouville equation are used to study of the polarization characteristics of an ensemble of He atoms in 3 3 S 1 state in the presence of the strong magnetic field when the coherent population of this level is realized from 2 3 P state.
By using the example of transfer between fine structure levels in the helium atom, the possibility of laser generation without inversion has been studied.
Using a numerical solution of the Liouville equation, the process of variation of polarization characteristics in an ensemble of He atoms in the 3 3 S 1 state is studied on coherent population of this level from the 2 3 P state by a finite-width line in the presence of a strong magnetic field.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
