Sirimau District has the largest population in Ambon City which has an impact on the need for higher residential land, this will certainly affect uncontrolled land cover changes and have an impact on land conversion and environmental damage. This study aims to analyze land cover changes in Sirimau District in 2012, 2017, and 2022, and predict land cover in 2031. This study uses the Cellular Automata Markov Chains (CA-MC) method. The results showed that in the period 2012-2031 the area of residential land cover and open land continued to increase along with the increase in population and the high need for built-up land. In contrast to the land cover of agricultural areas and non-agricultural areas, which experienced a decrease in area. The results of the research are expected to be used as a basis for making policies related to the arrangement and good use of space in the future
South Leitimur District is one of the districts in Ambon City where landslides often occur, and this disaster causes many losses. One of the mitigation efforts is mapping areas with the potential for landslides to determine their distribution and risks. This study aims to apply the slope morphology method to identify landslide-prone areas in South Leitimur Regency. This study uses a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) extracted into the shape of slopes and slopes and processed using ArcGIS 10.8 software. This study uses the slope morphology method or SMORPH to identify and classify areas with potential landslides based on the matrix between the slope's shape and angle. The results of the study were classified into four classes of landslide potential, namely very low potential with an area of 2,489, 53 ha, low with an area of 3,278, 22 ha, medium with an area of 672, 32 ha, and high with an area of 685, 67 ha. Hutumury Village is a village that has the largest landslide potential area in each class of landslide potential in the South Leitimur District; this is because this village is a village that has the most significant area compared to other villages. The village that has a low landslide potential is Ema Village. The results of this study also illustrate that the higher the slope with convex or concave slopes, the higher the potential for landslides. The results of this study are expected to help the government of South Leitimur Regency in efforts to mitigate landslides in the future.

Ambon City is an area that has the highest disaster risk index in Maluku Province. The direction of development of residential areas in Ambon City tends to be coastal areas which of course will have an impact on the risk of tsunami hazard. This study aims to spatially model the tsunami hazard and its exposure to settlements in Ambon City. The research variables consisted of land height, slope, distance from the river, and distance from the shoreline. This study uses an overlay technique on the variables that have been assessed and analysed using a Geographic Information System approach. The results of the study show that the tsunami hazard in Ambon City is dominated by a low level of tsunami susceptibility which has a wider area than the medium and high tsunami vulnerability classes, this is because 77.32% of the Ambon City area is at an altitude of > 64 m while the tsunami exposure level in settlements in Ambon City are nominated with a high level of vulnerability with an area of 2,835.33 ha.
