Purpose: The purpose of this article is to examine the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on social and economic mobility occurring in Indonesia. The research illustrates that the effects of the pandemic are strongly felt in mobility in the socioeconomic sectors. Design/Methodology/Approach: To give answer to the research question whether COVID-19 pandemic has impact on socioeconomic mobility in Indonesia, firstly, we review the literature to find out what different scholars have found in recent researches concerning this subject as well as the current issue and the methods and models used in collecting, processing, and analyzing data. The processing of the data of the above-mentioned reports has been done by SPSS software program, specifically using regression. Findings: The possible impacts caused a decrease in socioeconomic activities and reduced community income. The results of the correlation analysis showed that there was a strong relationship between a pandemic tested positive for COVID-19 and mortality rates with socioeconomic conditions with an average correlation coefficient above 0.80. Practical Implications: This paper will provide a detail analysis of the impact of COVID-19 on socioeconomic mobility, with this impact, government policies relating to human life, economic policies to increase state expenditure (government expenditure), and tax incentives must be made. Furthermore, monetary policy that can accelerate the increase in production by reducing the cost of production through the cost of capital and reduce energy prices becomes an essential choice. Originality/Value: This research paper highlights an empirical analysis based on real data of socio economy mobility in Indonesia.
The study examines the influence of The Fed Rate, inflation, Dow Jones Index (DJI), exchange rate, and world oil price on the composite stock price index (CSPI) in Indonesia. The method used in this study was the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The research showed that the influence of inflation towards the composite stock price index was negative both in the short term and long term. The influence of the exchange rate towards the composite stock price index was positive both short term and long term. The impact of oil price towards composite stock price index was positive in the short term and long term. However, both the Dow Jones Index (DJI) and The Fed Rate had a negative effect on the composite stock price index. The results of this analysis can be used as a reference for investor and government policymaking.
Research on the development and empowerment of community-based self-reliance to increase community food security Dieng in Central Java province is descriptive investigative research to gain an overview of the problems of economic development community, especially regarding food security. The output of this research program and the completion of strategic activities (strategic plan) an integral and comprehensive in order to improve food security and economic empowerment Dieng community. This research method to apply multiple methods of analysis (multi-methods analysis) is by applying several methods that Quotion Loqation method (LQ), SWOT analysis, trend analysis, and analysis of the Economic Empowerment of the agricultural sub-sector. This study has value and strategic objectives as well as provide important information to improve community food security in particular Dieng and underserved communities in Indonesia in general. Penelitian mengenai pengembangan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berbasis kemandirian untuk peningkatan ketahanan pangan masyarakat Dieng di provinsi Jawa Tengah merupakan penelitian deskriptif investigatif untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang permasalahan pembangunan ekonomi masyarakat khususnya menyangkut ketahanan pangan. Output dari kegiatan penelitian ini yaitu tersusunnya program dan kegiatan strategik (strategic plan) secara integral dan komprehensif dalam rangka meningkatkan pemberdayaan ekonomi dan ketahanan pangan masyarakat Dieng. Metode penelitian ini menerapkan beberapa metode analisis (multi-methods analysis) yaitu dengan mengaplikasikan beberapa metode yaitu metode Loqation Quotion (LQ), analisis SWOT, analisis Trend, dan analisis Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Masyarakat pada sub-sektor pertanian. Penelitian ini memiliki nilai dan tujuan strategis disamping memberikan informasi penting untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan masyarakat Dieng khususnya dan masyarakat tertinggal di Indonesia pada umumnya.
The objectives of this study are: (1). To test and prove the influence of the application of government accounting standards (SAP), financial reposting, and financial accessibility on accountability in regional financial management. The research method was conducted using surveys, with the subjects in this study being employees who were in the SKPDs of the Kulon Progo Regency Government. The sampling technique, using purposive sampling, is applied by taking samples from populations based on certain criteria. These criteria are based on the judgment or certain quota. The number of samples is 30 SKPDs. The results are (1) The application of government accounting standards (SAP) has a positive effect on the accountability of regional financial management; (2) The presentation of regional financial statements has a positive effect on the accountability of regional financial management; (3) Accessibility of regional financial reports has a positive effect on accountability in regional financial management.
