Nearly single-phase and almost fully-crystallized glass-ceramics of lithium chloroboracite Li 4+x B 7 O 12+x/2 Cl (x = 01) were prepared by crystallization of precursor glasses derived from the Li 2 OB 2 O 3 LiCl ternary system. The crystal structure of Li 4 B 7 O 12 Cl (x = 0) was refined by the Rietveld method in the space group F 43c (no. 219).
A transparent fine structure of p–n junctions using zinc oxide nanorods with different aspect ratios and CuBr1-xIx was prepared by the solution coating method. The structures and electrical properties of the p–n junctions were characterized by scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffraction and current–voltage measurements. Clear rectification characteristics were obtained from all the samples. The leak current in the reverse direction was small in the p–n junction with large diameter nanorods. In the p–n junction with short nanorods, the rise of forward current was steep and a large current flowed. Carrier generation by UV light irradiation was confirmed from all p–n junctions.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
