Understanding people's attitudes towards the urban forest is increasingly crucial in advancing the goals of sustainable urbanization and for proposing changes in policy. Public and private landscape attitudes in relation to tree planting and removal from residents and local government areas (LGAs) were explored in order to investigate barriers against, and opportunities for, tree planting within two city councils in the Greater Sydney Region.
