Objective: The purpose of the article is to describe the empirical research of self-perception and emotional state of a woman with a pathology of pregnancy. At present, reproductive problems, both in women and men, are quite widespread in the world. According to the WHO data there are about 80 million couples in the world who have some difficulties in conception, carrying and giving birth to children. The reproductive health impairment is becoming one of the main problems of modern society, and consequently, the number of psychological problems also increases, because the inability to conceive or carry a baby safely, provided that there is a conscious desire to have children, is one of the most difficult life situations. Method: The leading method to investigate this problem is diagnostic and static methods that allow us to identify the presence of specific features in self-perception and emotional state of a woman during her pregnancy, focusing specifically on the psychological characteristics of women with pregnancy pathologies. Results: Based on the results of the empirical research, the hypothesis put forward about the presence of the specific features in self-perception and anxiety levels of pregnant women without pathologies and women with pathology of pregnancy was confirmed. Women with pregnancy pathology are less likely to feel self-confidence, they have lowered self-acceptance, but compared to women without pathology of pregnancy, the subjects often blame themselves for the situation that happened, they start to be responsive to their health and react to any bodily changes. Conclusion: Psychological support and guidance of pregnant women at maternity welfare centers (level I) should focus on the formation of personal and social perception of the concepts "I am pregnant" and "My child"; at antenatal clinics of maternity hospitals (II level)-to focus on the formation of rational ideas about the emerged pathology of pregnancy.

The effectiveness of coping behavior depends not only on a successful strategy but also on the individual characteristics of a person. Age, sex, intelligence, social status, gender identity - all these influence the coping ability and resilience of an individual. In mo- dern psychological research, there is some confusion between the concepts of ‘sex’ and ‘gender.’ Despite numerous studies on male and female coping strategies, gender differences in coping behavior are still poorly understood. The purpose of the study was to analyze gender-specific coping strategies of middle-aged men and women. Russian men and women (N = 286) were divided by gender (masculine, androgynous, feminine). The research was made using The Bem Sex-Role Inventory (BPRT) and Lazarus Folkman’s Test Ways of Coping Questionnaire (WCQ). This study employed a cross-sectional design. Differences among the groups were assessed using the Kruskal - Wallis H test, Mann - Whitney U test and Student t-test. The specificity of coping behavior was found to be determined by the gender identity of the study participants. The results of the present study support the gender differences hypothesis, since people with differences in biological sexual identity (male and female) use gender-specific coping strategies (masculine, feminine, or androgynous) if their gender orientations are the same. The research of masculinity, androgyny and femininity can become an important step in the long-term study of coping behavior and the basis for a better understanding of the dynamics of human behavior in a stressful situation.

This study aims to adapt the Child and Adolescent Mindfulness Measure – CAMM (Greco, Baer, Smith) scale for a Russian-language sample of adolescents. Modern domestic and foreign studies of dispositional mindfulness demonstrate its connection with the psychological health of young people. In this context, the diagnosis of dispositional mindfulness can be used for predictive purposes to identify the level of psychological well-being, social adaptation, and behavioral problems of adolescents. However, no diagnostic tools have been provided that are aimed at this age group. For psychometric verification of the Russian version of the dispositional mindfulness scale, the factor structure of the original and adapted version of the scale was compared, confirmation factor analysis, Spearman-Brown and Cronbach coefficients were used, criteria validity was evaluated, and a centile scale and a scale of questionnaire responses were developed. The study involved 411 teenagers (52% of girls and 48% of boys) living in Moscow and the Moscow region. The age range is from 13 to 15 years. The adapted scale is characterized by a satisfactory degree of internal consistency, which is confirmed by the value of the Spearman-Brown and Cronbach coefficients. In contrast to the one-factor original version of the scale, confirmation analysis of the Russian version revealed a two-factor structure with overlapping factors. Adolescent dispositional mindfulness is positively correlated with relevant constructs such as psychological well-being and negatively correlated with internalized and externalized adolescent problems. There was a positive reliable correlation with the readiness of adolescents to help and a negative one - with aggression in the classroom. The conducted research suggests that the adapted Russian-language scale of dispositional mindfulness has demonstrated good psychometric indicators and this tool can be considered as suitable for practical use.
