The technology of forming the health and fitness competencies of students of higher educational institutions is reviewed in the present paper, which includes designing the highly efficient educational activity of students and the management activity of a teacher with the principal orientation to the content and forms of the educational process in the personal-development technologies of training. The study aims to substantiate, implement, and verify the efficiency of the original methodical system of physical education of students of Ukrainian higher educational institutions. A total of 87 students, aged 18-22, including 46 males and 41 females, participated in the study. The research methods were conceptual-comparative analysis, questionnaires and surveys, pedagogical observations, expert assessments, testing, pedagogical experiment, and statistical methods. It has been determined that the original methodical system, implemented in the educational process of physical education, contributes to improving the quality of the physical education of students, forming highly-developed health and fitness competencies that are required during professional activity to maintain a high level of physical fitness and working capacity.
Purpose: determination of somatologic characteristics of biathlon students' body constitution in predicting of their successfulness. Material: in the research the following students participated (n=27, age19-21 years, boys n=17, girls n=10). Quetelet's, Erisman's and Piniet's anthropometric indices were calculated as well as life index. Results: the greatest distinctions between boys and girls were observed by the following absolute indicators: body, trunk and torso lengths; body mass. The least distinctions were by the length of upper and lower limbs, which prevail in boys. In girls we observed noticeable realization of diaphragm breathing. It permits to increase alveolar surface at the cost of lungs' stretching in longitudinal direction. With it, there was no visible change of chest excursion. Relatively high level of women's physical fitness conditions asthenia (dolymorphia). It results in approximation of girls' chest shape to men's. In boys formation of somatic type is realized at the cost of chest circumferential sizes but directly depends on the strength of hands' and back's muscles. Conclusions: for some sport-pedagogic activities (in our case-biathlon) certain type of body constitution is intrinsic, which conditions successfulness of professional program realization. Somatic type characterizes compliance and correlation of separated body links. These criteria permit to reduce costly part of future specialist's training and achieve high results in professional activity.
The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of different training activities on the development of the logical thinking of junior athletes who specialize in various sports. 131 students-athletes and 77 students-non-athletes aged 17-20 took part in the study. They were divided into two experimental groups (group A and group B) and one control group (group C). Group A included 69 students-athletes who were engaged in speed and power sports (boxing, freestyle wrestling, sprinting, hurdling, jumping, throwing). Group B included 62 students-athletes who were engaged in endurance sports (skiing, cycling, swimming). Group C included 77 students of higher education institutions who did not do sports. The study of the athletes' logical thinking was carried out according to the methodology of "Numerical series". It was found that the student-athletes who were engaged in endurance sports (group B) were registered to have significantly better (р<0.05-0.001) values of all three indicators of logical thinking (number of errors, speed of thinking and general assessment of the state of logical thinking) in comparison with the student-athletes who were engaged in speed and power sports (group A) and students-non-athletes (group C). Moreover, it was established that the students-non-athletes had a significant improvement in the indicators of logical thinking in comparison with the students-athletes who were engaged in speed and power sports (р<0.05-0.001).
The proposed article unveils a philosophical understanding of the technology of designing an open information and educational environment of higher education institutions. The expediency of introducing a transdisciplinary approach into this process as the most generalized and universal, one that overcomes the limits of disciplinary fragmentation with its shortcomings, gives a more complete picture of the world and fundamental relationships is shown. In philosophical terms, the goal of the proposed research involves the actualization of the study of the problems of transdisciplinary paradigmatics, namely, aspects of transdisciplinary education; focusing the attention of the scientific and educational community on the necessity and importance of transdisciplinary research and the development of strategies related to this phenomenon; the obviousness of obtaining a synergistic effect as a result of the introduction of a transdisciplinary approach in the design and formation of the information and educational environment of higher education institutions, recognition of the importance of adaptive management of social and pedagogical systems in this aspect. The article proposes the author's definition of the educational environment as a set of systems, technologies, means, relations, conditions, phenomena that interact with the educational process, contributing to the effective learning of the student and his formation as a person, as a professional specialist, as well as if you look into the academic context then a scientist. The article also points out the prospects of using cloud technologies in combination with a transdisciplinary approach. The introduction of modern technological and methodological approaches to the construction of the information and educational environment of the university blurs its boundaries, making it part of the global open information and educational space.
