TX 75083-3836, U.S.A., fax 01-972-952-9435.With this model, it is now possible to describe the phase equilibria of methane -heavy esters systems in a totally predictive way, with an accuracy of 16% (maximum 50 bar error) and to reproduce the volumetric properties with an error of 6%.The final aim of this work is the study of a real oil based mud taking into account the presence of brine in our systems. These systems will also be investigated at low temperature in order to describe the deep offshore conditions.
