In the present paper, the one-dimensional Gray-Scott Reaction-diffusion equation is solved numerically with the usage of Hyperbolic B-spline along with the differential quadrature method. The hyperbolic B-spline is used to discretize the partial derivatives, by which the ordinary differential equations will be obtained which further are solved with the SSP-RK43 scheme. The efficiency and accuracy of the method are to be checked by using L
∞ and L
2 errors. The obtained numerical results are shown with help of 2D and 3D figures. As a deduction, it is concluded that the method is an efficient and effective technique for elucidating the Gray-Scott Reaction-diffusion equation and likewise for the variety of partial differential equations.
In this paper, numerical solution of one dimensional Gray-Scott equation is obtained using Lagrange Polynomial with Differential Quadrature Method (DQM). After using DQM the considered equation converted into set of ODEs which further can be solved using Range-Kutta method. The efficiency and accuracy of the method is to be checked by using L
∞ and L
2 errors. The obtained numerical results are shown with help of 2D and 3D figures.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
