Even though Michael Chekhov was a student of Konstantin Stanislavski, Chekhov opposed to Stanislavski's acting approach at some points. He refused some of the principles and techniques of the acting method named as "System" by Stanislavski and developed different principles and techniques in place of them. This article aims to explore the points of separation of Michael Chekhov's acting approach from Konstantin Stanislavski and the techniques developed by Michael Chekhov in this context.
