The aim of this study was to identify Rhizoctonia and Fusarium species isolated from tomato, pepper and melon plants grown in Erciş, Gevaş and Edremit districts of Van and to determine their pathogenicity. Survey studies were carried out in 2018 and 10 Rhizoctonia (from peppers whole Rhizoctonia solani; 2 AG-3, 1 AG-5, and 1 AG-2; from tomatoes 2 binucleic AG-K, 2 Rhizoctonia solani AG-4 and 2 Rhizoctonia solani AG-2) and 47 Fusarium isolates (10 from melons; 6 F. oxyporum, 2 F. solani, 2 F. equiseti and 6 Fusarium from peppers; 3 F. solani, 3 F. oxysporum and 31 from tomatoes; 2 binucleic AG-K, 2 Rhizoctonia solani AG-4, 2 Rhizoctonia solani AG-2) were obtained from the roots. Anastomosis groups (AG) of Rhizoctonia isolates and species identification of Fusarium isolates were made by classical methods. A total of 57 fungal isolates were obtained from the samples collected within the scope of the study. In the pathogenicity experiment, 14 Fusarium isolates were selected to represent the regions and all Rhizoctonia isolates isolated due to their low numbers were used. As a result of the experiment, it was determined that F. solani in pepper and F. oxysporum in tomatoes and melons were more pathogenic in Fusarium isolates. In Rhizoctonia species, R. solani AG-3 in peppers, R. solani AG-4 and binücleic Rhizoctonia AG-K in tomatoes were found to be more pathogenic. In this study, R. solani AG-5 and R. solani AG-3 from pepper, R. solani AG-2 from tomato and pepper, binucleic Rhizoctonia AG-K from tomato were isolated and anastomosis groups were determined for the first time in Van.
